Application SHEETROCK Brand 200-A and 200 B Metal Trim, 1/2 and 5/8 Apply gypsum panels, omitting fasteners at
framing member where trim is to be installed. Leave a space 3/8 to 1/2 wide between edge of panel and face
of jamb. Slip trim over edge of panel with wide knurled flange on room side and fasten trim and panel to framing
using standard panel fasteners. Space fasteners 9 o.c. maximum. Finish with three coats of joint compound;
use only two coats with S

HEETROCK Brand 401 Metal Trim, 1/2, J-Stop, and SHEETROCK Brand 402 Metal Trim, 5/8, J-Stop
Apply trim to wall before gypsum panels go up by nailing through trim flange into framing. Space fasteners
9 o.c. Board is held firmly in place by short leg of trim. No additional edge fastening is necessary.

Brand 800 and 900 Corner Bead For gypsum drywall panels or single-coat veneer finish on
gypsum base, use S
HEETROCK Brand 800 Corner Beads on all vertical and horizontal exterior corners. Fasten
with 9/16 rosin-coated staples on both flanges along entire length of bead, or nails at maximum 9 spacing.
Where two-coat veneer plaster will be applied, use S
HEETROCK Brand 900 Corner Beads on all vertical and
horizontal exterior corners of gypsum base.

HEETROCK Brand 801-A and 701-A, 701-B Metal Trim For gypsum drywall panels or single-coat veneer
finish on gypsum base, use S
HEETROCK Brand 801-A and 801-B Metal Trim at window and door jambs, and
at intersections where panels abut other materials. Fasten with 9/16 rosin-coated staples, or attach to framing
or jamb with nails at maximum 9 spacing. Where two-coat veneer plaster will be applied, use S
HEETROCK Brand
701-A and 701-B Metal Trim at window and door jambs, and at intersections where panels abut other materials
on gypsum panels or base.
