HEETROCK
Brand Flexible Gypsum Panels first to the ceiling and then to the walls. Extend ceiling board into
corners and make firm contact with top plate. Cut panels neatly and provide support at cutouts and openings.
To minimize end joints,use panels of maximum practical lengths. Fit ends and edges closely, but do not force
together.

HEETROCK Brand Flexible Gypsum Panels are normally installed in a double-layer application. Center face layers
over joints of base layers. Secure base panels to studs with fasteners at 16 o.c., with a minimum of four screws
for each stud. For the face layer, space fasteners 12 o.c. with a minimum of five screws per panel width in each
stud. Use 1 fasteners for base layer and 1-5/8 screws for face layer.
– When applying gypsum panels to outside radius of frame, attach panel to last stud on either tangent wing wall,
then screw-attach panel to studs as you carefully work panel around frame. Those panels being applied to inside
of arc must be supported at each end by one person, with each person supporting and pulling in on the panel ends
with one hand and using other hand to carefully push the panel in at the center.Fasten panels to studs beginning
with center stud and work outward. For panels longer than 8 ft., an additional person may be required to support
the center of the panel.
