Scales are precision instruments and should always be handled
with proper care. To ensure years of reliable service, keep these

can permanently damage it!
Avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold. Scales perform best at normal
room temperature. If temperatures have changed dramatically, recalibration may be necessary.
Allow your scale to warm up for 30-60 seconds before performing
calibration (if available).
Store your scale in a clean, dry location. Dust, dirt, and moisture can
accumulate on the weighing sensors and electronics causing inaccuracy or malfunction.
I- SCALE OPERATION
Always weigh on a flat horizontal surface.
1. Before turning the scale on, set the switch on the underside of the
scale to the desired weighing mode (kg/g or lb/oz).
2. Press [ON/OFF] key.
3. Wait until “0.0” or “0” is displayed.
4. Put the object(s) on the weighing platform / bowl.
II-TARE WEIGHING
When using the bowl to weigh or another container, it is best to simply turn the scale on with the container on the platform already. The scale should go to zero. Otherwise you can use TARE:
1. Turn on scale as described above.
2. Place the “tare item” on the platform.
3. Press [TARE] and wait until “0.00” is displayed.
4. Add the “net-weight-item”.
III-STANDARD CALIBRATION
If the scale should ever deliver a false reading, they can be calibrated in the following way if required. Press ON/OFF key and hold up, meanwhile, quickly press TARE key 2 times the LCD display will show ---. Release the ON/OFF key first, then press ON/OFF key again. The display now shows the maximum possible weight that the scale can measure. Place the exact equivalent. Press ON/OFF key again, the display will now show the maximum weight, followed by ‘PASS’.
Calibration is complete! You can turn off the scale.
Avoid using you scale in close proximity to strong radio wave emitting
devices such as computers, cash registers, and cordless phones.
Always weigh on a flat level surface, free from vibrations and drafts.
The corner of a room is usually the most stable.
Gently apply all items to be weighed. Do not drop items onto the
weighing platform.
Avoid dropping your scale. The warranty does not cover damage due to
rough treatment or overload.
V-TROUBLESHOOTING
The primary reasons for inaccuracy or malfunction are low batteries, incorrect calibration, overload or operating on an unstable surface. Please keep this in mind and maintain and operate your scale properly.
[Display] Elimination of errors [LO] Replace the batteries. [EE] You are overloading the scale. Remove the excess load immediately!
