1.4 Fast installation guide
Please, follow the instructions for a faster and simpler installation of the receiver.
Step 1: Connections
Connecting the antenna cable
Connect the antenna cable coming from your
DVB antenna or distribution system to Antenna IN 1.
Connect the output LOOP OUT 1 to the input Antenna IN 2.
Use the included metal connection bridge.
With the short black cable, you have to connect LOOP OUT 2
to the input ANT IN from modulator.
Connecting TV set, LCD or video beamer
You can connect in different ways your TV set or other display system:
Scart / RGB At this output (in RGB-mode and RGB -YUV) you will have the best image quality.
This is the connector which will be normally used to connect the TV.
For this purpose, you will need a Scart – Scart connector.
S-VHS This connection has a little bit better quality than standard Scart (no RGB Mode).
For this purpose, you have to use an S-VHS cable.
Modulator The modulator output gives the lowest picture quality. You only will need this output if
your TV set only have IEC input. You can use the IEC connection cable that is included.
On the receiver, you have to use the connector TO TV.
Please note that with the modulator, you only will have available mono audio signal.
Recorder / DVDAt the VCR - Scart connector, you can connect a Video or DVD-Recorder.
Also the signal coming from a DVD player is possible to be wached if your TV set has
Scart connections.
You will find further information at chapter 6.4. VCR Scart mode.
You can obtain further information in chapter 0.3 Receiver back panel.
