company was found in 1993,it developed on and on and now it has rich human and
material resources, it has been become a multiple-producing corporation that combine
development, production, sale, management, service after selling. “Quality wins first,
customer comes first and service wins first” is the company’s principles to go by and
promise to customer.
Be careful of the identifier in the machine.
It is the warning of HIGH VOLTAGE.
It means high voltage can cause an electric
shock, turn off power before serving.

INTRODUCTION OF THE MANUAL
This owner’s Manual is intended to provide detailed descriptions together with all the
necessary information covering the general operation of electronic assemblies, servicing
control, spare parts, etc. as regards the product.
This manual is intended for the owner, personnel and managers in charge of operation
of the product. Operate the product after carefully reading and sufficiently understanding
the instructions. If the product fails to function satisfactorily, non-technical personnel
should no circumstances touch the internal system.

Non-technical personnel who do not have technical knowledge and expertise
should refrain from performing such work that this manual requires the location’s
maintenance man or a serviceman to carry out, or work which is not explained in this
manual. Failing to comply with this instruction can cause a severe accident such as
electric shock.

Ensure that parts replacement, servicing & inspections, and troubleshooting are
performed by the locations maintenance man or the serviceman. It is instructed herein
that particularly hazardous work should be performed by the serviceman who has
technical expertise and knowledge.

4. The connection
1. Insert the plug of power cord into the power socket of the machine.
2. Insert the power cord plug into a service outlet.

This machine’s supply voltage is 110V 50HZ , or 220V 50Hz . For actual supply
voltage, please refer the label of the machine.

WAR NING
¾ Be careful not to damage the machine during transport.
¾ Do not give a shock to the molded parts. These parts are fragile.
¾ Be careful not to give a shock to the machine when bringing it down from a higher
level.
¾ Unplug game before moving.
¾ Do not lay game on side during transport.
6. Installation
WARNING
This product is an indoor game machine. Do not install it outside. Even indoors,
Avoid installing in places mentioned below so as not to cause a fire, electric shock , injury and
or malfunctioning.
¾ Place subject to rain or water leakage, or places subject to high humidity in the
proximity of an indoor swimming pool and or shower, etc.
¾ Place subject to direct sunlight, or places subject to high temperatures in the
proximity of heating units, etc.
¾ Places filled with inflammable gas or vicinity of highly inflammable/volatile chemicals
or hazardous matter.
¾ Dusty places.
¾ Sloped surfaces.
¾ Places subject to any type of violent impact.
¾ Vicinity of anti-disaster facilities such as fire exits and fire extinguishers.
¾ The operating (ambient) temperature range is from -10 to +40℃.

LIMITATIONS OF USAGE REQUIREMENTS
¾ Be sure to check the Electrical Specifications. Ensure that this product is
compatible with the location’s power supply, voltage and frequency requirement. A
plate describing Electrical Specifications is attached to the product. Non-compliance
with the Electrical Specifications can cause a fire and electric shock.
¾ Putting many loads on one electrical outlet can cause generation of heat and a fire
resulting from overload.

This machine requires space for
playing the game (play zone) and for

Game leveling
Install this machine on a flat surface. Adjust levelers to lift casters off the ground and
level game.
Make sure that the machine is level with the floor. If the machine is not level medals
may not be play well.

1. Inset coin(s)
2. Use the triangle buttons to choose 5 rounds or 10
rounds of the game. (inset coin for more rounds
or players)
3. Use the green button to start the game.

8Adjustment
8.1 The test button
Coin counter: Record the coins inset.
Ticket counter: Record the tickets output.
Ticket Reset: If the game experiences a
ticket jam it will hold the value of tickets
owed and display them in the Bonus
window. After the jam is cleared and the
reset button is pressed the game will
resume the ticket payout.
Service SW: Enter the service menu.
8.2 The test menu
Push the service SW ON. Enter the service Menu.
Use these buttons to choose the options up and down.

9. Maintenance and inspections
Safety checks
Check the points listed before operating the machine. These checks are necessary for
safe machine operation.
1 Are the warning labels legible?
2 Are all the level adjusters adjusted?
3 Is there sufficient play zone around the machine?
HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
When installing or inspecting the machine, be very careful of the following points and
pay attention to ensure that the player can enjoy the game safely.
Non-compliance with the following points or inappropriate handling running counter
to the cautionary matters herein stated can cause personal injury or damage to the
machine.
WARNING
¾ Before performing work, be sure to turn power off. Performing the work without
turning power off can cause an electric shock or short circuit. In the case work should
be performed in the status of power on, this manual always states to that effect.
¾ To avoid electric shock or short circuit, do not plug in or unplug quickly.
¾ Do not expose Power Cords and Earth Wires are susceptible to damage.
¾ Damaged cords and wires can cause electric shock or short circuit.
¾ When or after installing the product, do not unnecessarily pull the power cord. If
damaged, the power cord can cause a fire or electric shock.
¾ In case the power cord is damaged, ask for replacement through where the product
was purchased from or the office herein stated. Using the cord as is damaged can
cause fire, electric shock or leakage.
¾ Be sure to perform grounding appropriately. In appropriate grounding can cause an
electric shock.
¾ Be sure to use fuses meeting specified rating. Using fuses exceeding can cause an
electric shock.

OPERATION WARNING
¾ Should a problem occur, switch OFF the power immediately and stop operating the
machine. Then unplug the power cord the service outlet. Operating the machine
without correcting the problem may cause a fire or accident.
¾ Dust accumulated on the power plug may cause a fire. Check the plug regularly and
remove any dust.
¾ Insert the power plug securely into the service outlet. Poor contact may cause
overheating, resulting in fire or burns.
¾ Before operating the machine, always check that the machine has been installed
according to the instructions and procedures in this Operation Manual. Failure to
install correctly may result in a fire, electric shock, injury, or equipment malfunction.
¾ The warning labels describe important safety precautions. Observe the points
below.
¾ To make sure that the warning labels attached to the machine are easily legible,
install the machine in a well-lit location, and keep the labels clean at all times. Also
make sure that the labels are not behind other game machines.
¾ Do not remove to alter the warning labels.
¾ If the warning labels become dirty or damaged, replace with new labels. To order
replacement warning labels, contact your distributor.
¾ Always turn off the power first to protect other personnel from electric shock,
accidents and injury, and to prevent damage to electrical circuits.
¾ If a fault occurs, first check that all the connectors are firmly connected.
¾ Contact your distributor if none of the cases below applies to the problem, or if the
action listed does not appear to resolve the problem.

OPERATION
To avoid injury and trouble, be sure to constantly give careful attention to the behavior
and manner of the visitors and players.
10. Troubleshooting
If PC can’t start at normal. Power off, and connect the Keyboard to PC. Restart PC, Press Del
and enter the BIOS menu.

Situation 1: Playing in normal, no ball displays in screen.
Situation 2: Playing in normal, screen displays “SENSOR TEST ERROR1”.
Situation 3: Playing in normal, screen displays “SENSOR TEST ERROR2”.
1. SENSOR 1 Fault: After bowling no ball displays in screen.
2. SENSOR 2 Fault: After bowling screen displays “ SENSOR TEST ERROR2”.
3. SENSOR 3 Fault: After bowling screen displays “ SENSOR TEST ERROR2”.
4. SENSOR 4 Fault: After bowling no ball displays in screen.
5. SENSOR 5 Fault: After bowling no ball displays in screen.
6. After bowling, no ball displays in screen, But the ball still rolling out of ball Assy. If this
situation appear 3 times, the screen will displays” MOTOR ERROR”.
7. Sensor appears in pair. The sensor with LED is Sensor-RF. The sensor without LED is
Sensor-IR. Graph 3 is the wiring diagram of sensor.
8. If screen displays” SENSOR TEST ERROR 1”. The cause may be something
obstructing the sensor. Please remove this thing from channel.

These are the method of Sensor1~Sensor 5’ s test.
1. Push the service switch ON. (Graph 4)
2. Screen displays the main menu. ( Graph 5)
3. Use the L or R button to choose the INPUT TEST
Options. Press Select Button and enter this option.

4. If the sensor in state of closing or warding
Sensor display ON if the sensor in state of closing or warding. Otherwise screen displays OFF.
If something ward the sensor, screen display “ Lane Sensor 1 ON”. Please check all the five
sensor ‘ connection are correct. If screen dose not display ON, please check the wire or replace
sensor.

5. After testing, push the service switch in state of OFF.

Situation 4: Screen displays “ MOTOR ERROR” means there is something wrong in ball Assy.
Please check the machine with this method.
The content of electric part in ball Assy (Graph 10) are Motor Reset Sensor Ball Detect Sensor
and Ball Assy Sensor. If something wrong in Ball Assy please check these two sensors at first.
Please check if the two sensors are working at normal at first. Second, check the motor are
working . Warning: please power off the machine at first if screen displays” MOTOR ERROR” in
playing mode. After screen displays” MOTOR ERROR” there is no effect to operating the motor.
Restart the machine and enter Testing mode.

Step of checking two sensors
1. Push the Service switch ON.
2. Screen displays main menu.
3. Press left or right button select INPUT TEST Option, Press SELECT button enter this option.
4. When “Motor Reset Sensor” in state of ON, it means Motor Reset Sensor is always close.
When “Motor Reset Sensor” in state of OFF, it means Motor Reset Sensor is always open.
When “Motor Reset Sensor” in state of ON, it means Ball Detect Sensor is always close.
When “Motor Reset Sensor” in state of OFF, it means Ball Detect Sensor is always open.
5. Push the Service Switch OFF after test.

The adjustment of Ball Detect Sensor
1. The test distance of Ball Detect adjusted about 10cm.
2. Sensor has no signal if no ball after adjust the sensor.
3. Let ball close another side of sensor. Roll the ball to make sure all the sensor have signal.

If two sensor are at normal. Check the motor. For step:
1. Push the Service switch ON.
2. Screen displays main menu.
3. Press left or right button to choose the options. Press the select button to enter the option.
4. Press left or right button to choose the MOTOR TEST option, after press the SELECT button,
the ball Assy will play a motion. If the motor can’t run, please replace the motor or driver
board.
5. Push the Service Button OFF after testing.
Situation 5: There is something wrong in connection of the machine. Screen displays
“Communication Error”
1. Something wrong of wiring. Replace the wire.
2. SCM can’t work. Maintenance it.
3. PC pot was impropriated. Maintenance it.
Situation 6: Screen displays “Out of ticket! Please call attendant”.
1. Out of ticket. Replace the tickets in the ticket box and press the Ticket Reset button.
2. Ticket Assy was broken. Replace the ticket Assy.
3. The connection of ticket Assy was wrong. Maintenance it.
Situation 7: Screen displays” Load XXX Error program stop!”.
There is something wrong of the system. Reboot it with the system’ CD.
Warn: The CD named “Family Bowl 2 Restore CD Ver x.xZ” just for repairing the fault software. Use in other occasion may cause unforeseen accidents.
Software bug reset steps:
1. Switch on the game, then put a CD named “Family Bowl 2 Restore CD Ver x.xZ” into
CD-ROM.
2. Shut down the game, and wait 1minute then turn on the game. After a few seconds, the
screen will display the pictures and schedule.
3. Wait until the screen display a window and say “reboot”, then take the CD out. And then turn
off the game. Wait 1minute and then start the game again.
4. Then start the game will display another window. You only need to turn off the game and wait
1minute, then start the game again. Then the game will turn normally.
