INTRODUCTION - K22 SERIES
K22 Keypad is a sleek, and compact numeric keypad featuring 22 keys and
an RS-232 serial port interface (R version) or a keyboard port interface (AT
& PS/2 versions or USB port)
Excellent for numeric entry, this new design is also perfect for use with any
compact, book sized, or notebook PC.

HARDW ARE INST ALLA TION
For R version, plug the female D Type 9 pin keypad cable connector into the
RS-232 port (COM1 or COM2).
For A& P Versions, plug the connector into the keyboard port.
For USB versions, plug the connector into the USB port.

T o install the DOS Device Driver for Keypad
The keypad is easy to install. To perform installation, make a backup copy
of your keypad driver diskette, then insert the back-up copy in a floppy drive
and perform the following steps:

where X is the port that your Keypad is connected to:

To select COM1, even if in use. (IRQ = 4, 1/0 address = 3F8H)

To select COM2, even if in use. (IRQ = 3, 1/0 address = 2F8H)

Unload KP driver and release memory
If you want to run the keypad driver at boot time, modify your
AUTOEXEC.BAT file on the root directory of your boot disk to contain the
following line:
(DRV : \ ) PATH_DIRECTORY \ ) KP / X
Remember to either re-execute AUTOEXEC.BAT or to reboot the computer
system in order to load the keypad driver into system memory.
NOTE: The K22 22R version has function key operation. To use the
function keys such as f1, f2, just press and hold the “Fn” key located on
the upper-high right-hand corner , and then type the desir ed function key.
To install the Windows Device Driver for Keypad:

Place your keypad driver diskette in your selected floppy drive.
Under Windows Environment run the File:
SETUP.EXE
which resides on the keypad driver diskette. A Windows dialog box will
appear and guide you through the installation procedure. After completing installation, you will be prompted to restart Windows in order to
properly load the driver into the system.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a
Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation us
subject to the following two conditions.: (1) this device may not cause
