Please read this instruction manual attentively, before you operate this appliance. It gives important notes for safety, the use and maintenance of the appliance:
Before connecting the plug to the socket, please check whether the type of current and mains
voltage agree with the specifications of this instruction manual (230 V, 50 Hz). The appliance must be earthed.
Children do not recognize the dangers that may occur when operating electrical appliances.
Therefore keep children away from such appliances.
Never switch the appliance on without water. Fill only appropriate water into the base with the Water
Bowl (6), the Maximum water level mark announcement may not be exceeded.
Use only original or accessories recommended by manufacturer.
This appliance is intended for domestic use only and not for commercial applications. Never use the
appliance outdoors.
If the Power Cord (10) is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or
a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Unpack the appliance and all the accessories. Clean the Lid (1), Rice Bowl (2), Steam Baskets (3a,
3b, 3c), Separator (11), Basket Bottoms (4a, 4b, 4c) and the Drip Pan (5) with water and little tableware detergent before the first use. Dry the parts.
Place the Base with the Water Bowl (6) on an even surface. The appliance must have an appropriate
distance from furniture, walls and other articles. For the safety reasons, keep children away from the appliance.
Make sure that the voltage on the appliance rating plate (230 V, 50 Hz) corresponds to the voltage
on your mains supply meter.
Water filling:
- Fill water into the Water Refilling Hole (8) up to the Maximum water level mark, or
- Fill water directly into the Water Bowl (6) up to the Maximum water level mark.
Note! Never fill other liquids into the Water Bowl (6) and do not add additional ingredients e.g. spices to the water.
Place the Drip Pan (5) on the Base with Water Bowl (6).
HOW TO USE YOUR STEAMER Steam basket
You can combine the Steam Baskets (3a, 3b, 3c) and/or Basket Bottoms (4a, 4b, 4c) depending
upon desire.
Place the large pieces, which need a longer cooking time, in the Lower Steam Basket (3c).
You can cook different food at a time. Make sure however that the flavors complement each other.
Food with different cooking time
Place the food, which needs a longer cooking time, in the Lower Steam Basket (3c). As soon as the timer reaches the time for food with shorter cooking time, remove the Lid (1) with a cloth and place the Upper Steam Basket (3a) on the Lower Basket bottom (4c). Place the Lid (1).
Large food
You can remove a Basket Bottom (4a, 4b) (press upward) and build from 2 Baskets a larger Steam Basket (3).
Note!
The Lower Basket (3c) must be used with Bottom (4c).
The holes on the Basket Bottom (4) are practical for food such as eggs.
Start-up
Fill water in the appliance (into the Water Bowl (6)) and plug it in.
When the plug is inserted into 230 V AC the outlet, the LCD (9e) doesn’t show anything. Press the
ON/OFF Key (9a), and the acoustic signal will sound (one ‘di’) after that the symbol <00:00> appears on the LCD (9e).
Cook at once (the max cooking time is 1 hour)
To switch on press the SET Key (9b), the symbol <00:20> appears (default cooking time: 20 Min)
and the word «STEAMER» flashes on the LCD (9e). Adjust the desired cooking time with the Hour Key (9c) or Minute Key (9d).
Note! If you keep on pressing the Hour Key (9c) or Minute Key (9d), the number of hours (or minutes) increases faster.
Hour Key (9c) can set the time between 0~1 hour. And the Minute Key (9d) can set the time between
0~59 minutes. The max operating time is 1 hour.
Press the Hour Key (9c) or Minute Key (9d) once and there will play an acoustic signal (one «di»).
If no further indication is given for 5 seconds after the adjustment, the appliance starts the
procedure automatically. Now the word «STEAMER» on the LCD (9e) does not flash any more, two points «:» in the middle of LCD (9e) start flashing. And the Indicator Light (9a) (double color: red/green) turns red, that means that the steamer works.
Set the start working time
If you press the SET Key (9b) again in 5 seconds. LCD (9e) shows <00:00> and the symbol «TIMER»
flashes. While the symbol «STEAMER» disappears, press the Hour Key (9c) or Minute Key (9d) and set the time when it starts working.
The hour can be set between 0 and 12 hours (unit: 1 hour), and the minutes can be set between 0
and 59 minutes. (unit :1 minute).
If no further indication is given for 5 seconds after the setting of the time, the time starts calculating,
the «TIMER» doesn’t flash. At the same time two points «:» begin flashing.
On reaching the setting time the steamer starts working automatically, the cooking time and the
symbol «STEAMER» appear, and the «TIMER» in LCD (9e) disappear. Indicator Light (9a) turns red, the heater works.
Warm-keeping function (the max keep warm time is 1 hour)
After the expiration of the cooking time comes an acoustic signal (five times beep) and the Indicator Light (9a) turns green. The heater changes to the warm-keeping function. One warm-keeping period is 6 seconds following by the 24 seconds stop. And the heater works one period after one period. The warm-keeping procedure can last up to maximum 1 hour. Afterwards comes an acoustic signal (three times beep) again and the appliance switches itself off.
If you want to modify the cooking time in working procedure, please press the SET Key (9b).
If you need to cancel all the work of the appliance, please press the ON/OFF Key (9a). And the LCD
(9e) won’t show anything.
During the cooking or the warm-keeping procedure, if the thermostat cuts off, but turns on in 30
seconds, the steamer doesn’t give an alarm. Otherwise the acoustic signal sound «di……di» for a long period of time. The Indicator Light (9a) flashes (about 2 times), and the heater stops working. The steamer keeps estate before the alarm. While the thermostat turns on press SET Key (9b) the steamer works automatically. The acoustic signal disappears and the Indicator Light (9a) stops flashing, the appliance returns to the estate before the alarm.
Switch the appliance off after the use and unplug it from the mains supply socket.
Remove the Steam Baskets (3a, 3b, 3c) with help of a cloth. Let the appliance completely cool
down, before you store it.
TIPS
In order to reduce the cooking time, fill up the base with the Water Bowl (6) with lukewarm water.
Do not put the food too close. Leave some place, so that steam can flow through well.
If you cook large quantity of food, remove the Lid (1) after half of the cooking time, mix the food
gently and close the Lid (1) again.
