READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, you should follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of re, electric shock and injury to persons:
• Use only with corresponding voltage (230 V, 50 Hz).
• Make sure the socket where you plug it in the device is grounded.
• Never immerse the power cord with the plug, kettle or Power Base (6) into water or any other liquid.
• Do not use the kettle in the bathroom or near any source of water. Do not use outdoors.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle (3).
• Switch o and unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use, before lling or emptying with water. Allow cooling before cleaning.
• Take care when pouring, pour slowly, and do not overll the kettle.
• Water can remain hot for a considerable time after boiling and can present a scald hazard. Keep the kettle Power Base (6), and the mains lead away from the edge of worktops and out of the reach of children.
• Do not let that power cord hung from the edge of the table or work surface where it can accidentally catch on.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is use by or operated near children or inrm persons.
• Unplug the Power Base (6) from the wall socket when not in use, before repositioning and before clean­ing. Allow the kettle to cool down completely before cleaning and before storing away.
• Ensure that the Lid (2) is close before switching the kettle on; otherwise, it may not switch o.
• Check that the kettle is properly located on the Power Base (6) before switching it on.
• Do not switch on unless the kettle contains at least two cups of water, otherwise you may damage it.
• Before switching on, make sure that in the kettle with sucient water (not less than 1.0 L). Strictly prohib­ited to turn on kettle when water below the minimum level, or if kettle is empty.
• Do not ll about the “Max” on Water Level Guide (4) (1.8 Liter)
• Remove the kettle from its Power Base (6) before lling or pouring.
• Do not operate the appliance in the presence of explosive and on ammable liquid or fumes.
• Do not place the kettle, Power Base (6), or power cord on or near any hot surfaces such as a gas ame, electric element, or in a heated oven.
• Do not use the kettle for any purpose other than its intended use as described in these instructions. This appliance is intended for normal domestic household use only. The use of accessory attachments other than those recommended by the manufacturer may cause safety hazards.
• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged power cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or if it has been damaged in any manner. Return the complete appliance immediately to a service center or authorized service agent for inspection, and if necessary, adjustment or repair.
• Do not operate the product on an inclined surface.
• Do not operate unless the kettle contains the sucient amount of water.

BEFORETHE FIRST USE
• Take all the parts of the appliance out of the packing, and remove all labels and stickers. Keep all the packaging material in a safe place in case at any time you wish to repack the appliance for shipping purpose.
• Clean the kettle thoroughly (see section «CARE AND CLEANING»). Wipe with a damp cloth.
• Before switching on, make sure that the voltage of your supply is the same as indicated on the bottom of the kettle (230 V, 50 Hz).
• Fill the kettle with the maximum quantity of the cold water up to the «МАХ» mark and boil the water pour out and boil again - 2-3 times. Each time pouring out the boiled water.
• Discard the boiled water and rinse the kettle out with cold water before the rst use. Do not use this water in cooking, pour it away.
APPLIANCE USE
Positioning
• Put the Power Base (6) stable, level surface.
• Route the power cord so that it does not overhang the work surface, and cannot be caught accidentally. Shorten the power cord by winding it round the cord storage area under the Power Base (6), and bring out of the cord exit cut into the Power Base (6).
• Lift the Lid (2), ll the kettle with the desired amount cold water (between the “MAX” and “MIN” marks), and close the Lid (2).
• Depress the Switch (5) to start the kettle heating. The Indicator Light (7) on kettle will illuminate.
• When the water has boiled, the kettle will automatically turn o. If required the water may be brought back to the boil by waiting a few seconds and depressing the Switch (5) again.
Opening the lid
Remove the kettle the Power Base (6). If the Switch (5) has been push down inadvertently, it will spring up in to the «OFF» position.
Warning: If the kettle has just boiled, it will be full of steam, which will escape as soon as the Lid (2) is open.
Filling
• Remove the kettle the Power Base (6)
• Open the Lid (2) and ll the kettle via the Lid (2) aperture.
• Watch the level of water on the Water level Guide (4). You must boil at least two cups of water, but the water level must be below the «МАХ» mark.
• Do not overll the kettle. If the kettle is overlled, there is a risk that boiling water may be ejected.
• Close the Lid (2) and press it down. Check, that it is fully closed; otherwise, the kettle may not switch o when it is boiling.
