1. INTRODUCTION
This Service Manual has been prepared as an aid to HVAC installation teams and users, to help you better understand the equipment. This information is also designed to make you aware that the Air Conditioner is a product that must be used with care and understanding.
This Service Manual provides comprehensive technical documentation for all models of UNIQUE-CU split and packaged air conditioners. The information contained in this manual is useful for application engineers, architects, designers and various level service and installation personnel. The manual also contains information about the optional features offered by the UNIQUE-CU series, as well as helpful information on split air-conditioners, electrical wiring diagrams and refrigeration cycle diagrams for the various models.

Unique-CU Air Conditioners are the perfect choice for many residential, industrial and commercial applications, offices and buildings. The operation of Unique-CU Air Conditioners is quiet and the incorporated electronic controls ensure performance, durability and low maintenance requirements.
All Unique-CU Air Conditioners include cooling and heating by heat pump.
All Unique-CU Air Conditioners are ISO
-9002 certified.

Technical information for a specific unit appears on the unit nameplate, which is attached to the indoor and/or the outdoor units.
The unit nameplate includes the following information:
MODEL Air-conditioner model name
SERIAL NUMBER Serial Number of the unit.
CLIMATE CLASS Class T1 – Standard conditions.
VOLT/PHASE/Hz A/C power supply, for example: 400/3/50 = 400V/3 Phase/50 Hz.
COS φ
Power factor for the unit.
FUSE Required fuse size, Amp.
CAPACITORS μF
Compressor capacitor, Outdoor Fan capacitor (wherever applicable)
REFRIGERANT Type and Quantity of refrigerant charge, Gr.
CAPACITY W Cooling and heating capacity in Watts according to ISO 5151 standard.
