Aft er inserti ng the wi re in to the bi ndi ng post h ole, screw t he bind ing p ost cap d own o n the wir e. To reduc e the risk of sh ock or da mag e to your a mpl ifier, b e sure that th e wire co nne cted to o ne bi nding p ost does no t come in cont act wit h tha t of anot her.

You wi ll need a pair o f Neutr ik Sp eakon N L4F C conne ctors. You wil l also ne ed high- quality tw o or four c ond uctor S pea kon cab le, a pair of ne edle- nos ed plie rs and a 1.5 -mm Allen k ey to assemb le the Sp eak on conn ect ors to yo ur speaker wire. To assem ble the N eut rik Spe ako n NL4FC c onnector, c omple te th e follo win g steps :
1. Stri p back 3/4-i nch of th e cab le casi ng. S trip off 1/4 -inch from t he end of e ach o f the con ductors do wn to bar e wir e, and in ser t the bra ss fitting s ( Figur e 10 ).
2. Slid e the wire ten sione r (D) a nd the Sp eak on coup ler (E) thro ugh the c abl e end. See Fig ure 11.
3. Inse rt each wire w ith the b ras s fitti ngs i nto the t op of approp riate s lot o f the conne ctor inser t (B) as sh own i n Figur e 12. U se a 1.5- mm Allen key to t ighte n the con nection ( Fi gure 13 ) .
4. Be sur e to properl y match t he po sitiv e (+) a nd nega tive (-) lea ds of eac h wir e ( Figur e 14 ).
5. Slid e the connec tor ins ert ( B) into t he co nnect or housing ( A), mak ing s ure tha t the lar ge notch on th e outer e dge o f the ins ert l ines up w ith the larg e groov e on the ins ide of the con necto r hou sing. The in sert shoul d slide e asi ly thro ugh t he housi ng.

OPERATING MODES
STEREO OPERATION: Connect your inputs into channel one and channel two of the amplifier. Connect your speakers to the outputs on the rear of the
amplifier. Be sure that your front gain controls are turned down to their lowest level (fully counterclockwise). Turn your amplifier on. Turn your input source level up. Use your front gain controls to regulate the output volume. Be sure not to raise the volume to the clip level, however an intermittent clip signal is acceptable.

Du ring hi gh ou tput an d as he at rais es, (excee ding 50 °C. ), the fa ns wi ll run at h igher spee ds to aid t he co oling p roc ess. If t he heats ink temper ature e xce eds 91° C., t he ampl ifier will m ute unt il th e ampli fie r cools d own. When th e ampli fie r cools b elo w 90°C. , the amplif ier wil l retur n to normal op erati ons . Be sure n ot to o perat e your ampli fier be low t he mini mum l oad rat ings to redu ce the ri sk of o verhe ati ng prob lems.
