1 GPS Tracking System Introduction
Mini GPS tracker UM02X integrates GPS and GSM functions, which could
send vehicle location and status to mobile and Internet. It utilizes GPS and LBS
double locating. Its advantage is that the builtin battery can last 3 years at
reporting interval every 24hrs. No wires connection. Place and Work. The
system structure is as below:

3 Usage Instructions
3.1 SIM card installation
1.Open the rubber plug 2.Insert GSM SIM card 3.Close the rubber plug
(SIM card chip faces ground. If it is correctly inserted, you can hear a click
sound, also you can get SIM card out by pushing. Otherwise SIM card cannot be
inserted.)

3.2 Startup
1. Insert SIM card.
2. Take device outside. Pushing the button to “ON” position.

3. Send command DW030 immediately once device is turned on. (Reply is
GPS Time Set OK!) Otherwise device will go to sleep mode in 4 minutes.
By sending this command, you have 30 minutes operation time. After 30
minutes, device goes to sleep mode.
4. In 10 to40 seconds, the unit starts to work and acquire the GSM signal as
well as GPS signal. The indicator will keep flashing every 3 seconds once
the unit has received both signals. After 4 minute, the device will go to
sleep mode. (LED OFF and Device OFF)
4 SMS Operation Instruction
4.1 Set Admin phone number
Message format: admin123456 0086***** (There is a space between
password and phone number)
Example : admin123456 008615012404563
Reply : ‘admin OK !’
When admin number calls device SIM, device will return current location,
GPS valid(V:A) or invalid (V:V), time, speed, battery state, ID, SIM operator,
and GSM base location information. As below :

4.2 Fall alarm
4.2.1 Open fall alarm (Default Open. Alarm type : Call and SMS alert)

SOS1 means calling only
SOS2 means SMS alarm only
SOS3 means calling and SMS alarm
4.3 Set IP and Port

4.4 Set SIM card APN
SMS command: APN,APN (The second APN is SIM card APN)

4.5 Working mode explanation
4.5.1 The working time for the frist time when device is turned on is 4 mintues.
After 4 mintues, the device will got to deep sleep mode. (GSM OFF GPS
OFF GPRS OFF)
4.5.2 Deep sleeping mode : GSM OFF, GPRS OFF, GPS OFF. Upload GPS
data every 24 hours. When the device uploads GPS data, GSM ON,
GPRS ON, GPS OFF for 5 minutes.
4.5.3 Shock sleeping mode : GSM ON, GPRS ON, GPS ON, without any
operations more then 10 minutes, GSM ON,GPRS OFF, GPS OFF.
A. Start shock sleeping mode, send SMS command : DW999 Once
command is received, device will stay in this mode forever.
B. Close shock sleeping mode, send SMS command : DWXXX
(Device will go to deep sleeping mode after X minutes.
XXX=005-360)
4.5.4 Deep sleeping mode to Shock sleeping mode
Press drop button (blue button) more than 15 seconds and loosen more
than 3 seconds, device sends out drop alarm. In 4 mintues, device goes
to normal working mode : GPRS/GSM/GPS ON. In 30 mintues, device
goes to shock sleeping mode. After 30 mintues, devices goes to deep
sleeping mode.

5.2 Download wechat, register a wechat account, search
GPSCARTRACK and follow, login the system with your own account.
6 Cautions
6.1 Keep the unit dry. Any liquid, i.e. rain, moisture, may destroy or damage t
he inside circu.
6.2 Don’t use & store the unit in dusty places.
6.3 Don’t put the unit in overheated or overcooled places.
6.4 Handle carefully. Don’t vibrate or shake it violently.
6.5 Clear the unit with a piece of dry cloth. Don’t clean in chemicals, deterge
nt.
6.6 Don’t paint the unit, this may cause some foreign materials left in betwee
n the parts.
