Warranty
The general terms and conditions of Unger’s standard warranty
apply.
The warranty does not cover:
• Operating and installation errors.
• Opening/disassembly of housing other than by Unger (except
battery change as described in section 3.4 and tank change as
described in section 3.1).
• Replacing connections and hoses, other than by UNGER.
• Replacing spare parts or components that are not recommended
by UNGER.
• Performing unauthorized modifications to the design.
• Use of unauthorized chemical additives, chemicals, or refilling
pouches.
• Non-compliance with safety and maintenance instructions.
The manufacturer is not liable for the malfunction
of the device:
• When use is not in accordance with product instructions.
• When used for applications not in accordance with product
instructions (see 1.2. Intended use on page 8).

Introduction & Warnings
1. Safety Information
The user must comply with all applicable local and federal labor
laws and safety codes and standards. Prior to system installation
and start-up, it is essential that you observe the safety regulations
and instructions for installation and maintenance contained in this
manual.
1.1 General Warnings
To prevent damage to the surfaces, never clean LED, LCD, plasma or
similar monitors with this system.
Avoid spraying in the air. Place the cleaning pad on glass and spray in
short intervals.
Never use with more than one short and three long pole sections, for
a maximum pole length of 4,37m.
Follow all established safety procedures.
This product should be held and used based on the user’s comfort
level.
Use all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
1.2 Intended Use
This cleaning tool is intended for indoor surface cleaning. This tool is
to be used by professionals only. Always take care that the device is
properly installed, regularly maintained and used only as intended.
The temperature in the working area should be between (5°C - 40°C /
40°F - 105°F).

1.3 Cleaning Solution - Warning
Read and follow all use and safety instructions on the cleaning solution label. Contact manufacturer or supplier of cleaning solution to
request Safety Data Sheet.
Precautions: Avoid eye contact. Do not direct spray at face and eyes.
Avoid breathing of vapors, mists or spray. Use only with adequate
ventilation. Do not swallow. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
If medical advice is needed, have product container or label on hand.
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove
contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: get medical attention. Dispose of in accordance with
applicable federal, state/provincial and local regulations.
Do not use liquids other than conventional multi-surface or window
and glass cleaners. DO NOT USE with concentrates, creams, gels,
abrasive formulas or chemicals containing bleach. Do not use cleaning solutions that are classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic or reproductive toxins. Do not use with flammable or combustible liquids.
Read label and safety data sheet (SDS) to ensure proper use. Test on
small, inconspicuous area before broad application.

System Overview
2. System Overview
Stingray® is a modular system. The handheld cleaning unit consists of the triangular cleaning head
equipped with either a microfiber pad or adapter plate and QuikPad, depending on the kit purchased.
The head is flexible and has an embedded spray jet in the center. The body of the unit can be opened to
change the tank and to change batteries.
The handheld unit can be used as a hand tool or can be extended/collapsed with extension poles. The
activation button on the back of the unit is used to release the cleaning solution.
Every pole section has an activation button to release the cleaning solution.

3. Installation
3.1 Installing the tank
1. Open the compartment on the handheld unit by sliding the green button back and
removing the lid (picture 1).
2. Remove cap from unit and unscrew cap. Fill with desired cleaning solution and replace
the cap (picture 2).
3. Do not fill tank inside handheld unit.
4. Maximum of 150 ml of liquid. Do not squeeze or overfill the tank. Do not direct bottle
towards face and eyes.

5. Cap should have a tight seal prior to placing inside unit.
6. Do not use liquids other than conventional window and glass cleaners.
DO NOT USE with concentrates, creams, gels, abrasive formulas or chemicals
containing bleach.
7. Read label and safety data sheet (SDS) for each cleaning solution to ensure
proper use, including recommended surfaces.
8. Push the tank onto the connector at the top of the compartment with Unger logo
side facing up. (picture 3)
9. Push the tank forward and down so that it fits into the compartment.
10. Replace the lid and confirm that the green button is locked into place. (picture 4)
11. Test on small inconspicuous area before broad application.
3.2a Assembly of the Microfiber Pad
• The system is equipped with a triangular shaped microfiber pad.
• The pad provides maximum cleaning power in combination with the Stingray
Glass Cleaner.
• Put the microfiber pad onto the padholder. Fix it in place with the elastic bands
in each corner.
• When the pad is dirty, take it off and wash it. Please see care label on pad.
• The area that can be cleaned with one pad will vary depending on the condition
of the surface being cleaned.

3.2b Assembly of the Adapter Plate & QuikPad
• The system is compatible with the triangular shaped adapter plate and QuikPads.
1. Align the triangular adapter plate to the pad holder and press to lock into place.
2. Align the QuikPad with the corners of the adapter plate and press down to
secure.
• When the pad is dirty, remove and dispose.
• The area that can be cleaned with one QuikPad will vary depending on the
condition of the surface being cleaned.

3.3 Extension Poles
• The handheld unit can be used as a hand tool for easy to reach surfaces (picture 5).
• The handheld unit can be extended to reach higher or hard to reach surfaces using
the available short (0,63 m) or long (1,24 m) extension poles (see page 4).
• The system is designed to use a maximum of three long and one short extension
poles. Never exceed maximum recommended length. UNGER is not liable for any
damages or injuries resulting from the failure to follow these instructions.
• When adding extension poles, be sure locking pins are locked into corresponding
pin holes (picture 6).
• To unlock, press the locking pin and separate the extension poles (picture 7).

3.4 Battery Change
• Two AA batteries are required. Do not use recharcheable batteries!
• The battery compartment is located under the tank.
• Remove the tank from the compartment during battery change.
• Unscrew the battery lid.
• Remove old batteries and dispose of in accordance with
applicable federal, state/provincial and local regulations.
• Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix fifferent types of batteries
such as non-rechaeable and rechargeable.
• Replace with new batteries. Pay attention to the correct orientation of
each battery.
• Close the compartment and secure the lid with the screw.
• Do not expose batteries to direct sunlight, heat or fire.
4. Use
Every pole section has its own activation button to start the pump.
1. Before beginning a new cleaning job or when using a new pad, press the
pad flat against the window (to minimize spaying cleaning solution into the
air) and press the activation button for a maximum of five seconds to
pre-moisten the pad.
2. Use circular motions to dampen the entire surface of the pad (fig. 1).
During the cleaning process, use as little liquid as possible. If you need to
re-moisten the pad, hold the activation button for about one second.
3. Pad only needs to be damp to achieve the best cleaning results.
4. When window cleaning, start by cleaning the window frames. Beginning in
one corner, clean the outer edge of the window being sure to keep contact
with the frame. (fig. 2)
5. Once outer area is cleaned, in all four corners and along all four edges,
clean inner area of window. (fig. 3)

5. Maintenance & Storage
Wipe up any cleaning solution that has dripped/leaked from the tank into the
unit. After use, clean and dry the handheld unit and all extension poles with
a microfiber cloth. Do not clean the handheld unit or poles under running
water. Remove cleaning solution and rinse the tank after each use.Read and
follow the washing instructions on the pad. Store the system safely. Do not
lean extended poles against a wall. An upright position with cleaning head up
is recommended. The Stingray® System OS fits into standard toolholders that
are mounted to a wall.
The temperature in the storage room should be in the range of 5°C - 40°C
(40°F - 105°F) max.

Handheld unit, poles, and adapter plate contain valuable materials that can be recycled. Please arrange
for the proper recycling of old units.

regulations.

Der Anwender muss alle geltenden lokalen und bundesstaatlichen
Arbeitsgesetze sowie Sicherheitsvorschriften und -standards
einhalten. Vor der Installation und Inbetriebnahme des Systems ist es
unbedingt erforderlich, dass Sie die in dieser Anleitung enthaltenen
Sicherheitsvorschriften und Anweisungen für Installation und
Wartung beachten.
1.1 Allgemeine Warnhinweise
Verwenden Sie den Glasreiniger niemals auf LED, LCD oder PlasmaBildschirmen.
Vermeiden Sie das Sprühen in die Luft. Legen Sie das Reinigungspad
auf das Glas und sprühen Sie in kurzen Abständen.
Verlängern Sie die Stange niemals länger als drei lange und eine
kurze Einheit, also maximale Höhe 4,37m.
Befolgen Sie alle gängigen Sicherheitsvorschriften.
Dieses Produkt sollte vom Anwender so gehalten werden, dass eine
komfortable und ergonomische Arbeitsposition möglich ist.
Verwenden Sie ggf. geeignete persönlichen Schutzausrüstung (PSA).
1.2 Einsatzbereiche
Dies ist ein professionelles Reinigungswerkzeug für die Innenreinigung von Oberflächen wie Fenster, Edelstahl etc.
Das System wurde für professionelle Anwender konstruiert.
Achten Sie immer darauf, dass es ordnungsgemäß installiert ist und
regelmäßig gewartet wird und nur bestimmungsgemäß eingesetzt
wird. Der Temperaturbereich in der Arbeitsumgebung sollte zwischen
5°C-40°C liegen.

auf Gesicht und Augen sprühen. Vermeiden Sie das Einatmen von
Dämpfen, Nebeln oder Spritzern. Nur bei ausreichender Belüftung
verwenden. Nicht schlucken. AUßER REICHWEITE VON KINDERN AUFBEWAHREN. Wenn ärztliche Beratung erforderlich ist, halten
Sie Produktbehälter oder Etikett bereit.
BEI AUGENKONTAKT: Vorsichtig mit Wasser einige Minuten lang
spülen. Kontaktlinsen entfernen, falls vorhanden. Spülen Sie weiter. Bei anhaltender Augenreizung: Ärztliche Hilfe aufsuchen.
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät in Übereinstimmung mit den geltenden
Vorschriften von Bund, Ländern, Provinzen und Gemeinden.
