Operating Procedure
Place snow machine on a at surface.
Place True North Snow Fluid jug in jug holder. Insert uid pick up hose into uid jug and tighten cap.
Plug power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Turn power switch on rear of unit to “ON” position.
Use the adjustable knob to turn on the pump and regulate the volume of snow output.
The True North Snow Machine may be installed at oor level or suspended overhead with an optional hanging bracket. When mounting the unit overhead, it is important that the snow does not shoot directly at anyone’s face. Whatever installation method you choose, do not allow the unit to have more than a 15 degree angle of inclination.
Maintenance
The uid pump is subject to burn out if run dry for any period of time. Take care when priming the pump when changing jugs. Keep the air intake ports on the bottom of the chassis free from blockage. With time the sock may accumulate residue, which will impede performance. Running clear water through the machine and rinsing off the sock will restore performance. After each event ush the unit with 2L of clear water. Protect the unit from freezing. In extreme cold, performance will be reduced.
Do not allow the snow liquid to become contaminated. Always replace the caps on the snow liquid container and the snow machine liquid tank immediately after lling. Before storing, ush out system with clean water.
If you experience low output, mechanical noise or no output at all, unplug immediately. Check uid level, the external fuse, remote connection and power from the wall. If all of the above appear to be okay, plug the unit in again. If snow does not come out after 30 seconds, check the hose attached to the tank to make sure there is uid going through the hose.
Exterior
To clean, wash with mild soap and warm water.
