Manufactured from high-quality, solid stainless steel, the Thompson
column hoist is renowned as one of the strongest built hoists on the
market. The hoist features a 20mm stainless steel base plate,
complimented by a 90mm solid bar stainless steel guide column with
a 50mm diameter stainless steel lifting thread. When anchored to a
concrete floor, flexing and lifting stress is minimized due to the solid
construction of the lift.
The square thread driven by a 3-horsepower motor results in one of the
most powerful hoists built for meat machiner y loading. Rugged built
tipping arms, a solid lifting cradle, and hard-wearing tipping tracks result
in years of trouble free operation.
A number of safety features are included in the design of the Thompson
hoist, such as its mechanically strong Er tacetal carriage with a built-in
safety nut, a cradle equipped with a “lock-in-place bin” mechanism, and
press and hold operation.
The Thompson column hoist can be utilized for a variety of tipping
applications and can feed many types of processing
equipment. With tipping heights ranging
from 1,000 to 2,250mm (3.3- to 7.4-ft.),
the hoist has been used to load
mixer/grinders, vacuum stuffers,
tumblers or simply as a material handling or
transfer application.
