Introduction

This 900 MHz keyfob type transmitter is used in applications involving vehicle security.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a vehicle installation. This equipment
generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

This equipment has been certified to comply with the limits for a class B computing device, pursuant to FCC Rules. The user is
cautioned that changes and modifications made to the equipment without the approval of manufacturer could void the user’s authority
to operate this equipment.

Addressing

For security purposes, this transmitter is programmed to one of 1,024 different addresses. The receiver must be programmed to the
same address as the transmitter. The receiver may come programmed to your transmitter from the factory. If not, you will need to
have the receiver learn the transmitter’s ID.

To program the receiver, first remove the receiver cover and make sure there are no other transmitters in the area. Place the
transmitter about 24 inches from the receiver. Press the learn button on the receiver (the learn button will light). When the learn light
goes out, the receiver has finished programming (should take approximately 8 seconds).

The receiver may learn up to 4 different transmitters, each with different ID’s. If a fifth transmitter is programmed, the first
transmitter ID code that was programmed will be deleted and replaced with the new ID.

Battery Low Indicator

The transmitter has a battery low warning light that blinks every few seconds when the battery level gets below a predetermined
threshold. If the light is blinking, the battery (CR2023 coin cell) should be replaced. Should the battery not be replaced in a timely
fashion, at some point the transmitter will stop working and the system will not work.

Battery Save Feature

The transmitter may be turned off to save battery life when the transmitter is not in use. If the transmitter is placed near a magnet, an
internal magnetic reed switch will turn the unit off. Moving the transmitter away from the magnetic field will switch the transmitter
back on.
