hinge assembly using a T -25 T o rx driv er (see below).

4. Gently push unit into positio n. Be car eful no t to

1. Plug in the power/electrical cord.
2. Gently push the unit into position. Be car eful not
to ent angle the cord or water and drain lines , if
applicable .
3. R e-check the le v eling, from front to back and side to
side . Mak e an y necessary adjustments . The unit ’ s top
surface should be appro ximately

5. R emo v e interior packing material and wipe out the
inside of the unit with a clean, water -dampened cloth.

DOOR ALIGNMENT AND ADJUSTMENT
Align and adjust the door if it is not le v el or is not sealing
properly . If the door is not sealed, the unit ma y not cool
properly , or ex cessiv e frost ma y form in the interior .
REVERSING THE DOOR
L ocation of the unit ma y mak e it desirable to mount the
door on the opposite side of the cabinet.
The hinge hardwar e will be r emo v ed and r einst alled on the
opposite side of the cabinet.
T O REVERSE THE DOOR
R emo v e grille:
NO TICE
Properly aligned, the door ’ s gask et should be
rmly in cont act with the cabinet all the wa y
around the door (no gaps). C ar efully ex amine the
door ’ s gask et to ensur e that it is rmly in contact
with the cabinet. Also mak e sur e the door gask et
is not pinched on the hinge side of the door .
T o align and adjust the door:
1. Gently pry o hinge co v er from top of unit.
2. L oosen (do not r emo v e) top and bottom hinge scr ews
using a T orx T -25 scr ewdriv er .
3. Align door squar ely with cabinet.
4. Mak e sur e gask et is rmly in cont act with cabinet all
the wa y around the door (no gaps).
5. Tighten bottom hinge scr ews .
R emo v e the grille (see GRILLE INST ALLA TION section of
this guide).
R emo v e top hinge and door:
1. Hold door to k eep it from falling.
2. R emo v e top hinge from cabinet using a T orx T -25
scr ewdriv er to r emo v e thr ee scr ews . Set aside and
sa v e for possible futur e use .
6. Tighten top hinge scr ews and r eplace hinge co v er .

bottom hinge . R et ain shoulder washers; the y will be

4. R emo v e thr ee scr ews from hinge holes on the
opposite side . R einst all into holes wher e the hinge was
r emo v ed. (If utilizing supplied scr ew co v er , inst all just
one scr ew .)
R emo v e bot tom hinge:
1. R emo v e bottom hinge from cabinet using a T -25 T ORX
scr ew driv er to r emo v e thr ee scr ews .
Inst all top hinge and door:
1. Inst all hinge with longer straight edge aligned to
outside edge of cabinet. Do not tighten.
2. R ot ate door 180 o and set on bottom hinge .
3. Align edge of the hinge with the outer edge of the unit.
2. R emo v e corr esponding scr ews on opposite side of
cabinet. On some models ther e ma y be a nut behind
one or both scr ews on either side .
Inst all bot tom hinge:
Inst all two or thr ee scr ews , depending on model. R eplace
nuts if used.

CHECKING PR ODUC T TEMPERA TURE
T o check the actual product temperatur e in the
unit:
1. P artially ll a plastic (nonbr eak able) bottle with water .
2. Insert an accurate thermometer .
C auses which aect the internal temperatur es of
the cabinet include:
• T emperatur e setting.
• Ambient temperatur e wher e inst alled.
• Inst allation in dir ect sunlight or near a heat source .
• The number of door openings and the time the door is
open.
• The time the internal light is illuminated. (This mainly
aects product on the top rack or shelf .)
• Obstruction of front grille or condenser .
3. Tighten the bo ttle cap secur ely .
4. Place the bottle in the desir ed ar ea fo r 24 ho urs .
5. A v oid o pening the unit during the testing perio d.
6. After 24 ho urs , check the temperatur e o f the water .
If r equir ed, adjust the temperatur e control in a small

This unit is equipped with an adv anced co n v ectio n coo ling

The e v aporator fan is r espo nsible fo r circulating warm air
from the r efrigeratio n z one , past the e v apo rato r and back
into the r efrigerated z o ne .
The e v aporator fan is factory set to ha v e a 1 minute dela y
at the beginning of a cooling cy cle . This dela y giv es the
e v aporator time to cool properly befor e warm air is passed
o v er it. The fan will continue to run for an additional 2
minutes at the end of a cooling cy cle . F an dela y times can
be modied through the service menu.
Ev aporator fan operation is also determined b y door switch
st ate . If the door switch circuit opens , the fan will stop .
When the door switch circuit is closed the fan will either
continue running with the cooling cy cle , or if not curr ently
cooling, the fan will run for 1 minute to circulate air and
clear an y condensation that ma y ha v e appear ed on glass
doors and shelv es .
Note: If the unit is set to sabbath mode , the e v aporator
fan will no longer r espond to the st ate of the door switch.
In order to operate eciently , the e v aporator fan blade
and v ents should be unobstructed and fr ee of an y dust
buildup .
