procedure below is designed to pro v ide a
finished integrated panel that seamlessly
integrates wi th surrounding cabinetr y .
The door panel must no t weigh more than 20 lb s
(1 0 k g).
It i s impor t ant t o ensure that a ll dri lled holes are
drilled to the correct de pth in order to a v oid
split s i n the wood when hardware is instal led.
When appl ying an integr ated panel to a unit ,
ensure th at both sid e s are finished in order to
pre v ent warping. In some panel instal lati ons ,
the panel ma y be vis i b l e through th e g l as s while
the d oor is open.

acc o rdi n g to the following p r oced ure:
1. Remove th e d r ain pu mp fr om th e ice mach in e.
2. Drai n the wa ter i n the pump’s res e rv oir by turni n g t h e
pum p ups i de down and allowing the water to dr ain
through the pump’ s inlet and vent tube fi tti ngs .
3. After water is drain e d, r e ins t all the drain p u mp and
reat tac h al l c o nnect i ons .

Frequently toggling the c o m p re ssor re lay coul d
force th e comp ressor in to overload. The
comp ressor will automatica lly deactivate d u rin g
an overl o ad and wi ll rema in deactiv a ted unti l t h e
overload switch cools. Th is cou l d take some
ti me. It is i m port ant to al low the compressor at
least 5 mi nutes off t i me bet w een relay cycles.

If the mai n control is s u s p ect e d of bei n g f a ulty , the
following procedure should be performed to verify main
con t r o l for fu nc ti onali t y.
Re lay & DC Outputs
One of the pri m ary f u nc tions of the mai n c o ntrol i s to
operate the mul t ipl e relay a n d D C outputs duri ng ea ch
cycl e. Verify p r oper operation of these relays using the
following procedure.
1. Enter “Relay T o ggle” through the service menu.

A reed switch is used to m o nitor door state. When the
door is closed magnetic force pul l s the reed to its c o ntac t
and c l os es the ci rcuit whic h turns t h e light a n d di spl ay off .
When the door is open the reed pull s away from the
c o nt ac t a n d opens the c i rcuit . I f the door is left open for
l o nger th an 5 m i n u te s, th e sw it c h w i l l tr igg e r a n err o r cod e
and s e t a n audible warning.

Both thermistors in the unit ar e identi cal . If a t h ermis t or is
su spec t e d of bein g def e ct iv e , t h e r e si st a n c e c a n b e
v e rified. Place the therm i stor in an i c e wat e r bath, the
r e s i s t ance shoul d r e a d 16 .1 k OH Ms +/-5 % on y o ur meter .
