following procedure should be performed to verify main

Re lay & DC Outputs
One of the pri m ary f u nc tions of the mai n c o ntrol i s to
operate the mul t ipl e relay a n d D C outputs duri ng ea ch
cycl e. Verify p r oper operation of these relays using the
following procedure.
1. Enter “Relay T o ggle” through the service menu.
Frequently toggling the c o m p re ssor re lay coul d
force th e comp ressor in to overload. The
comp ressor will automatica lly dea c tivate d u rin g
an overl o ad and wi ll rema in deactiv a ted unti l t h e
overload switch cools. Th is cou l d take some
time. It is importan t to allow the comp ressor at
least 5 mi nutes off t i me bet w een relay cycles.

If the zone thermis t or i n t h e uni t f a i l s th e un it wil l c o nt in ue
to cool in a back u p m o de to preserve the integrit y of the
contents. The unit wil l cycl e on for ten mi nu tes , t h en sh ut
down for forty fi ve minutes. Th e process wil l repeat until
the problem is corr ected. All other functions of the unit
will c o ntin ue to operate n o rmally.
Evap orator Thermistors
If an ev aporat or thermi st or fails the uni t wi ll rely on a
pres et defros t tim e r duri ng defr ost cy cl es. The un it wi ll
otherwi s e operate n o rmally. Th e error will be dis p layed in
the servi c e mode “Error Log.”
Th is u n it ha s tw o th ermi st ors . Thermistor one is located
al ong the right ha nd si de wa ll i n s i de of t h e uni t and i s us ed
to ma inta in t e mperat ure within the unit.
Thermistor two is located on the back o f the evaporator
and is u s ed for defrost purpos es.

Evaporator Fan

from the refri g erat ion zone, pa s t the evaporat or a n d bac k
into the refrigerat ed zone.
The eva p ora t or fan i s fa ct ory s e t to ha ve a 1 mi nute delay
at t h e beginning of a c ooli n g c y c l e. Thi s del ay gi ves t h e
evaporator time to cool proper ly b e fore warm ai r is passed
over it. The fa n wil l c o nt inue to run for a n addit i onal 2
mi nu tes at th e end of a c o ol i n g c y c l e. F a n d e la y t i mes c a n
be modi fied throu g h th e servic e menu .

ai r and c l ear a n y c o ndensa ti on that may ha ve appeared
