MX-101B digital console is equipped with a digital keyboard, LCD display and unidirectional paging microphone with chime pre-announcement. MX-101B digital console was built tobe connected to MX-100B matrix and BUS CAN UDE modular system.

IMPORTANT: ress key 9 on console and enter default password “1, 2, 3, 4” to set up all those parameters mentioned above.

Important:
Choose level “ ” for each inputof the rear panel.
- Connect RS-232 orRS-485 port of thematrix to a PCwhich must include SF-101software.
- Turn on PC andmatrix (note 5).
- Inputs with MX-101Bconsoles: Inputs with remotecontrol.
- Routing inputs toeach Matrix outputs (8or 16), indicating prioritylevel of each output.
- Set up othersmatrix inputs as corresponding.
- Name of eachzone, group, console, screensaver,etc.
- Next transfer thelabels of each console.
- Language menus.
- Maximum number ofzones (8 or 16depends of MX-100B matrix8x8 or 16x16).
- Access to matrixlogical control remote (free-password).
- Access to musiccontrol (free-password).
- Call groups: 19groups (note 4)
- Restriction zones (allrestricted zones on group20)
- Pre-announcement chime (withoutchime, chime 1, chime2).
- Set up password. P

- Press arrows upor down to selecta sub-menu and press“ ” to enter yourselection.
- Press arrows upor down to scrollon the sub-menu andpress “ ” to confirmthe setting.
- Press “ ”to exit orcancelselection.
Reset matrix and consoleto accept all parametersmodified.

Default MX-101B parameters arethefollowing:
- Console is programmedtooperate matrix MX-100B.
- Microphone + Chime1(normal).
- Console works onoperation
- Number of zones:16.
- Access to logicalcontrolremote = Free.
- Access to musiccontrol= Free.
- Password: 1,2, 3,4.
All parameters indicated above, could be programmed without SF-101 software. Consult MX-101B console
and MX-100B matrix usermanuals .
Using the keyboardof the MX-101Bconsole is possibleto assign musicinputs and routingthem to outputs,on programming mode. Usually itismade using SF-101 software ormatrixMX-100. Number of console isnotused with matrix. Is recommended to use (scrolling zones).
Enter on sub-menu “ , press “ ” to select zonesandenter“ ” to confirm selection.
PC and Matrix mustbeswitched “ ” before plug orunplugRS-232 connector.

. Press to enter on theselection of zones ifuser is on adifferentsub-menu. Press keys to move thename of the zones. Press “ ” to select or unselect the zone located on central line of LCD display, selection is indicated with
character “ ”, if any zoneis not available isindicated with character “ ”.
Press “ ” key after finishingselection. Message “ ” will be display, after greenpilot “ ” light up. (Note7 y 9).
­Press key “ ”. LCD displayshows menu, selection of groups. Press “ ” key to movethe name of thegroups. Press key “ ”to select group desired. Pressing talk “ ” key LCD display will show , the names of the zones including the group selected,
”...etc.
When chime finishes, greenpilot “ ” light up.
Press key “ ” on keyboard (note 8) to access control remote menu, allow visualizing names of all of them and
status ON/OFF indicated withcharacter “ ”. Press ” ” to select controlremote. Press Key “ ”to turn ON/OFF remotecontrol
Press key “ ” (note 8)toenter on control remotemusic sources menu. Matrix input names aredisplay on the screen. All inputs which are not music sources (consoles,GD-26) show the character“ ” on the right hand side. They
are not available inthis menu. All music inputs availableshow character “ ” on the righthand side. Press key“ ” to modified statusON/OFF.
Press “ ” key toexit of main menu,screen saver,etc., select different menus,sequentially.
Screen saver will be ON if there is a period of any activity about 2 minutes. On screen saver can be entered
name of entity, technical support telephonenumber,etc.
Press any key toexit from screen saver.
They are not usedfor console installation directly. They are used tocheck some information ofMX-101B console or setup menu. Read usermanual.

Indicates use “sliding zones” because it isthe most interactive of allthree operating modes available.
Read user manual toconsultother operating modes.
When an announcement is made, screen can display complementary information like “priority notice” and symbols referring to active zones, priorities, etc, which are related with matrix process of different consoles which are connected. Readusermanual.
LCD displaywill show “ ” ifsystem is protected. Must enter four digits followed by thecharacter “ ” (entersamepassword used to get inprogrammingof console parameters. Default password is ( ).Press key “ ” to cancel input.
After selecting one or more zones they are kept, if user wants to make a new announcement of pre-selected
zones should press key“ ”.Pre-selection of zones canbecancel pressing key “ ”.
