3 Description
3.1 Product status change
The NINA-B4 series of Bluetooth low energy modules and evaluation kits are now released for
Initial Production:
• NINA‑B400 and NINA‑B406 modules are delivered as open-CPU solutions that allow
customers to use the embedded MCU for their application software.
• NINA‑B410 and NINA‑B416 modules come pre-flashed with u-connectXpress software that
facilitates integration with a host MCU through an easy-to-use AT command interface.

3.2 Certification and qualification
The NINA‑B400, NINA‑B406, NINA‑B410 and NINA‑B416 modules are certified according to the
regulatory requirements in US (FCC/CFR 47 part 15 unlicensed modular transmitter approval).
The modules comply with the regulations defined in the Radio Regulatory Directive (RED) by
ETSI for Europe and are also qualified in accordance with the Bluetooth 5.1 specification.
4 Schedule
This information is effective as of December 16, 2020. First production parts are now in stock
and customers can place orders immediately.
