Installation Tips
• Avoid installing the sensor in areas where it will face direct
or reflected sunlight.
• Avoid installing near windows and air conditioning or
heating vents.
• Do not locate the sensor on a wall opposite of external
doors or windows.
Instructions
1. Locate the desired mounting location on the wall.
Use a pencil to mark two holes 6.1 cm apart from
each other. An optional wall-mount template can be found
in the Wall-Mounting Template section.
2. Use a 5.2 mm drill bit to drill the holes, and insert a M6x28
Screw Anchor into each hole. Use a Phillips screwdriver to
secure a M3x25 Screw into each anchor. Leave a clearance
of approximately 2 mm between the screw head and
thewall.

3. If the CAT5/6 cable feeds through the wall, cut or drill a
circle that is approximately 25 mm in size and lines up with
the cable feed slot.
4. Connect a CAT5/6 cable to the mFi RJ45 Port.
Note: If you have a wiring hole in the wall, feed the
CAT5/6 cable through the wiring hole.
