REPLACEMENT PAPER
paper roll must be replaced with THERMAL PAPER only
thermal sensitive coating must be on the outside
paper rolls must be 58mm wide
maximum paper roll diameter 55mm (37.7 metres long)
replacement paper roll: Tynetec P/No. W00336
1. slide the lid release button until the lid springs open
2. unwind a small amount of paper and insert into the printer
3. close the lid down and the paper is loaded
After loading, check that the paper advances properly and tear off
any excess by pulling towards you across the serrated edge.

ADVENT xt
COMPACT THERMAL PRINTER

INTRODUCTION
The Advent xt printer records the time and date of all calls made/answered/cancelled on the warden call system. All other system activity such as telephone line fault, mains fail, system reset, etc. is also recorded.
PUSHBUTTON
The pushbutton performs several functions; click once to turn the printer on, press and hold for paper feed when changing paper rolls or double-click to perform a self test and print the internal settings.
LED INDICATOR
The LED indicator on the front of the printer will normally flash short green - long orange, there are a number of other colour combinations which provide printer status information;

The printer will enter Spool Mode if the paper runs out, the paper compartment flap is up or an error has occurred. Data will be buffered for printing when the condition is rectified.
BATTERY STANDBY
If the mains supply is disconnected the LED will be steady green for a preprogrammed time until the printer enters sleep mode. When the mains supply is restored click the pushbutton to return to standby mode and any missed calls will be printed.
PRINT-OUT DETAILS
The print-out is designed to give as much information as possible about the status of the system whilst using the minimum of paper. All alarm call print-outs are restricted to one line of text in the following format:

The above example tells you an intercom alarm from flat 1 was detected at 14:20 on 22 December and the system was operating in onsite mode. See below for details of the abbreviations used;
