Parts List
1. Make sure the bike is completely cool before
starting the installation. Make sure the bike is
secure on a centerstand or ideally a service lift.
2. Remove left and right side panels.
3. Remove Air Box mud flap screws.

4. Remove left and right muffler assembly.
5. Remove lower mid-pipe bolt and muffler clamp.
12. Double check to make sure that all hardware
is tightened.
13. Before you run the bike, clean off all fingerprints
and dirt, as any oily residue will etch the metal and
become somewhat permanent when the system
gets hot. Run the bike and enjoy. It is normal for
some white smoke to appear the first time you start
the bike. This is packing/manufacturing oil from
inside the pipe burning off. Check for gaps or leaks.
If you find a leak, a little high temperature silicon
sealant should fix it. After 50 to 100 miles, recheck
all fasteners for tightness.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
We recommend that this performance part be installed by a qualied
motorcycle technician. If you have any doubts as to your ability to install this
performance part, please consult with your local motorcycle dealer. Read all
instructions rst before starting installation. Make sure the motorcycle and
exhaust system are completely cool before starting the installation. Also,
make sure the bike is secure on a centerstand or ideally a service lift during
installation. Be sure to save all stock components for possible use later.

6. Remove mid-pipe section from motorcycle.
7. Loosely attach muffler to S-Bend using the four
6x14mm Socket Head Cap Screws provided.
8. Loosely attach muffler assembly to motorcycle
using the supplied 8x30mm flange bolt and OEM
mid-pipe mounting bolt.
9. Tighten the mid-pipe, then the four V.A.L.E.™ring
muffler bolts, and lastly the muffler mount.
10. Install side panel bumper from OEM side panel and
push into holder. Attach to muffler.
11. Reinstall side panels and mud flap.

Keep sys tem fre e of dirt and moisture. Store in a c ool, dry place . For cleanin g use a
mild sp ray cle aner. Always a pply cleaner o r polish with a soft, clean c loth.
Stainle ss Head er System: Po lished stainles s steel pipes will turn a l ight gol den hue
after a few heat cycles, this is a normal char acteristic of high quality s tainless steel .
Carbon Fiber M ufflers: Al ways mak e sure the fib erglass packing i nside i s in go od
conditi on and not burn ed out, as ex haust he at inside an e mpty canister will de teriorate
the Car bon Fib er sleev e. TBR sel ls repack kits ( TBR part # 00 5-10038) that i nclude new
rivets and re pack mater ial as well as a drill bit (#30), ma king it easy to do yo urself. Also,
NEVER d yno tes t your b ike with car bon fiber mufflers inst alled - the i ntense h eat and
lack of co oling air can quickly cause th e CF ma terial to burn. Two Brothers Racing does
not prov ide a warranty f or burn ed carb on fiber.
Aluminu m Muffle rs: Use an aluminum o r mag wh eel polish such as Moth er’s to re store
the bri ght fini sh to fa ctory spec.
