1. Make sure the bike is completely cool before starting the 
installation. Make sure the bike is secure on the sidestand 
or ideally a rear service stand.
2. Remove OEM Muffler assembly. Retain mounting bolt for 
later use.
3. Remove the OEM rubber grommet and sleeve from OEM 
muffler mounting location. This will not be reused.
4. Remove right side rear passenger foot rest assembly.
5. Install TBR muffler mounting backet behind OEM 
passenger foot rest and re-install on motorcycle.
6. Attach TBR slip-tube to TBR muffler using the supplied 
6x20mm bolts and lock washers. Leave loose for now.
7. Slide barrel clamp over slip-tube joint and rubber lined 
muffler clamp over muffler assembly.
12. Before you run the bike, clean off all fingerprints and dirt, as 
any oily residue will etch the metal and become somewhat 
permanent when the system gets hot. Run the bike and 
enjoy. It is normal for some white smoke to appear the first 
time you start the bike. This is packing/manufacturing oil 
from inside the pipe burning off. Check for gaps or leaks. 
If you find a leak, a little high temperature silicon sealant 
should fix it. After 50 to 100 miles, recheck all fasteners for 
tightness.
Care & C leaning
Keep system free of dirt an d moisture. Store in a cool , dry place. For cl eaning use a mild spray cleaner. Always apply cleaner or p olish with a so ft, 
clean cloth. 
Stainl ess Header System: Polished stainless steel pipes will turn a light golden hue after a few heat cyc les, this is a normal characteristic of high qualit y  
stainl ess steel.
Carbon Fiber Mufflers: Always mak e sure the fiberglass packing inside is in 
good condition and not burned out, as e xhaust heat inside an emp ty canister will  
deteri orate the Car bon Fiber sl eeve. TBR sells  rep ack ki ts ( TBR 
part # 005-10038) that includ e ne w ri vets and repack mater ial as 
well as a dri ll bit (#30),  making it easy  to  d o y ourself.  Also , N EVER d yno te st your bik e with carbon fibe r muffl ers i nstalled  - t he 
intens e heat  and lack of cooling air can quickly cause  the CF  
materi al to burn. Two Brothers  Racing does not provide a warranty for 
burned carbon fiber.
Alumin um Muffle rs: Use an aluminum or mag wh eel polish such a s Mother’s to r estore t he bright finish t o factor y spec.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
We recommend that this performance part be installed by a qualied motorcycle 
technician. If you have any doubts as to your ability to install this performance 
part, please consult with your local motorcycle dealer. Read all instructions rst 
before starting installation. Make sure the motorcycle and exhaust system are 
completely cool before starting the installation. Also, make sure the bike is secure 
on a centerstand or ideally a service lift during installation. Be sure to save all stock 
components for possible use later.
**This product has not been tested with all available accessories and some 
items may cause excessive heat. Excessive heat may cause damage to your 
vehicle. Two Brothers Racing will not be responsible for damaged parts.
8. Install on motorcycle and attach using the OEM muffler 
mounting bolt.
9. Align muffler and tighten the 4 X-ring bolts.
10. Tighten muffler clamp and barrel clamp at slip-tube joint.
11. Double check all your work.
