1. Loadi ng the disc

. One of the f ollowin g mess age s appe ars o n the LC D: DVD , VCD , CD . . For some d iscs, pla ybac k sta rts au tom atic ally when t he disc is cl ose. . When dis cs for whic h prog ram m emor ies a re set , playbac k starts au toma tic ally i n the orde r.

2. Press t he PLAY/ PAUS E butt on

. Playba ck starts . For some d iscs, a men u scre en ap pear s. Fo r vide o CDs, play ing the dis c acco rdi ng to the ins tructio ns on th e dis c's me nu sc reen s I called PB C ( playbac k cont rol ) playba ck.
