1. Purpose
1.1. To allow suitable seal to Elara 11 autoclave.
1.2. To define door disassembly and reassemble process to replace door
2. Tools and Materials
2.1. Silicone grease P/N SEA095-0103
2.2. Gasket P/N GAS080-0055
3. System
It’s mandatory to remove the autoclave door plate to replace the door
gasket. Failure to do so, will cause distortion to the gasket which will
cause leakage.
Upon completion of the gasket replacement, please run a short cycle
and verify that there are no leakages.

The unit is
4.1. Remove the door cover
When dissembling the door cover, verify that the appliance is
turned ON - this allows
jiggling the handle that opens it.

4.2. Unscrew and remove the screws of the cover (6 screws).

4.3. Release the cover of the door of the appliance.
1. Move the cover so that it protrudes at an angle that at the bottom beyond
the handle that opens the door (blue arrow).
2. Pull the cover from its bottom part outward (red arrow).

4.4. Disassemble the door plate from the door of the appliance.

4.5. Remove the door gasket and clear the groove using cleaning material that
is suitable for cleaning the chamber (plain water is also an option).

1. Line the inside of both sides/walls of the gasket groove with silicon grease (red
arrows).
If insufficient grease is applied - replacing the gasket will be difficult. If excess grease applied, the gasket will 'spring' out of the groove.

4.6. Assemble the door gasket Cat Nr. GAS080-0055 (follow the order of
operations step by step):
1. Place the plate on a horizontal
surface (a table).
2. Place the door gasket loosely,
without applying stress or pressure, over the groove.
3. Imagine dividing the door into 8
equal sections.
4. Set the gasket into its place in the
groove along section 1

5. Set the gasket into its place in the
groove along section 5 Verify that the balance part of the gasket is equally loose on both sides
6. Set the gasket into its place in the groove along sections 3, 7
Verify that the balance part is equally loose on both sides.

7. Set the gasket into its place in the groove along sections 2, 6.
8. Set the gasket into the groove along sections 4, 8.
Verify that the gasket is placed straight and is not wavy.
4.7. Assemble the door plate, tighten the main screw with the spring
(contrary to the disassembling process)
4.8. Assemble the door cover (notice the stages for replacing the cover)
1. Allow it to easily slide inside under the opening handle (blue arrow).
2. Press the bottom part of the cover inward (red arrow)

4.9. When changing gasket is completed - turn on for a short operation cycle
to verify that there are no leaks.
