Model Information
TMS-High mid/high Loudspeaker
The TMS-High is a passive 2-way mid/high loudspeaker consisting of a horn-loaded 10” MF driver and a 1” HF compression driver in a compact portable enclosure. The midrange section employs a line source Polyhorn device to develop smooth and even coverage over a wide frequency range.
It is designed to be pole mounted with the matching 18” TMS-Low subwoofer, making a high output (130dB peak) full range portable sound reinforcement system. It is equipped with a pole mount socket, two flush grab handles, and Speakon NL4 connectors are provided on the rear panel for input and parallel link connections. M10 rigging points are provided for use with an optional yoke or for permanent installations using M10 shoulder eyebolts.

TMS-Low Subwoofer
The TMS-Low is a compact horn-loaded subwoofer enclosure consisting of an 18” low frequency driver.
It is designed for use with the matching TMS-High mid/high enclosure. The TMS-Low is supplied with heavy duty wheels and the plywood cabinet is shaped to allow the TMS-High enclosure to be stowed inside the horn flare when transporting the system in and out of a venue. It is fitted with an integral pole mount socket to allow the mid/high to be mounted at the correct height. Speakon NL4 connectors are provided on the rear panel for input and parallel link connections.
TMS system features
Powerful and compact two-box professional full range loudspeaker system
Professional quality 1” high frequency compression driver with wide horizontal dispersion
10” mid driver loaded with a line source Polyhorn
Wide 80° horizontal x 40° vertical dispersion
18” low frequency driver mounted in a horn-loaded subwoofer
Integral pole mount sockets on both subwoofer and mid/high cabinet
Internal M10 rigging points on mid/high cabinet for easy suspension in permanent installs
Optional flying yoke on mid/high cabinet for pole mounting, truss support or ceiling mount
System Requirements
The TMS system is a two-box bi-amped system and as such requires an individual amplifier channel for each cabinet for correct operation, the frequency splitting between the mid/high cabinet and the low frequency cabinet being accomplished by a loudspeaker management system or other external crossover. The cabinets are each equipped with two Neutrik Speakon NL4 connectors wired in parallel, serving as both input and loop-out connections to additional speakers. The Speakon wiring details are shown at the right. Four-core loudspeaker cable should be used, wired pin 1+ LF positive, pin 1- LF negative, pin 2+ mid/high positive, pin 2- mid/high negative so that the same cable type can be used for either cabinet. To avoid wasting amplifier power you should use heavy-duty speaker cable with a minimum wire size of 12 gauge (1.5mm²), and preferably 10 gauge (2.5mm²) for longer runs. Always observe the correct polarity as shown.
