Consumer Instruction Manual

Follow these instructions closely for correct installation :

Installation Accessory :

Battery Positive Post Screws.
Connector

Main Unit with ON/OFF switch

and LED indicator

Ensure the ignition is turned off, and all other equipment, such as GPS and

other car alarms are also turned off.

Open the Car hood (or any other access to the car battery).

Remove the negative cable of your car battery. (Black or marked - ) This is

intended for your safety, to prevent any sparking during the installation.

Remove the positiv e cable (red or marked with +) from the battery post of the

vehicle

Buzzer Remote x 2 PCS

Connect the positive(+) side of the BATTERYGUARD mark ed “BATT+” to the

positive post of the V ehicle Battery and firmly attach it with the included Battery
Connector and screws. Please be sure to tighten the screw securely and

ensure that the red plastic insulator cap (included) is installed over the
connector.

Installation :

Please use the accessory – Battery
Connector to install the unit with
Battery.

Connect side of the BA TTERYGUARD marked “CABLE+” to positive power cable
and firmly attach it with the included Positive P ost and screws. Ensure it is tight
and secure. Use the vehicle insulator cap to cover the connection for

proper insulation

Now return the negative cable of the car battery, which had been removed in
Step 2, back to the negative post of the vehicle. Install the negative earth wire
(black or marked - ) of the BATTERYGUARD in the bolt assembly and tighten
securely.

Now attach the Buzzer.

Ensure the surface of the location is clean before attempting to mount it.

Pull off the double sided tape from the bottom of the Buzzer and attach it on to
a secure place away from any moving parts or any heat source of the engine.

The installation of the BATTERYGUARD is now complete and the main unit will

show the Blue LED flash. Now you can close the engine hood. At this stage the

BATTERYGUARD can be used as a GUARD against battery drain or with the

remote control to immobilize the engine by cutting off battery power, the

BATTERYGUARD will now be ready to secure your vehicle.

After installation, please run a test using the operation manual.

NOTICE

All vehicle settings dependent on battery power will need to be reset after Installation.

Transferring the BATTERYGUARD to a new battery

BA TTERYGUARD can easily be transferred to a new battery . When changing batteries,

always ensure that you disconnect the vehicles negative cable and the
Negative wire of the BATTERYGUARD FIRST, then the vehicle positive cable from

the BA T TERYGUARD before mo ving the unit. Then follow the installation instructions
again to reinstall on a new battery.
