BLUE TUBE
Congratulations on your purchase of the best BLUE TUBE tube preamp pedal. For the applications intended, it will give you a quality of sound unattainable until now.
Your BLUE TUBE is intended primarily for bass, keyboard and guitar players who desire to “warm-up” and enhance their sound by using the classic vacuum tube as the vehicle.
The heart of the BLUE TUBE is the classic 12AX7A twin triode vacuum tube. It is possible to obtain many classic “old amp” sounds with your present solid-state and probably over-processed equipment. If you are using tube equipment, the BLUE TUBE will add even more to the good sound you already have!
OPERATION
BLUE TUBE is capable of a very good range of applications. While a pedal always has certain limitations vs. rack systems, care has been taken to make your pedal as “PRO” as possible.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
1. In order to get the cleanest possible sound, set the “Output” control to maximum and use the “Drive” control as you would a standard volume control.
2. To get more Tube coloration and some overdrive, reduce the “Output” control setting and increase the “Drive” control setting.

GENERAL NOTES
Although the BLUE TUBE is very ruggedly housed in heavy gauge steel, care should be given to the unit as tubes are made from glass. Avoid physical abuse. A soft touch to the footswitch is all that is needed to switch the unit. You will notice the absence of a power switch on the BLUE TUBE. This was intentional on the part of the designer. There is no possibility of unwanted power loss during a performance, and power switches are just one more area of eventual wear-out that has to be avoided. BLUE TUBE has been designed for prolonged periods of continuous use without overheating or damage. It has been observed that the BLUE TUBE sound is actually enhanced with use as the tube ages.
