Digital Recorder EDIC-mini Tiny 16 U352 is
a professional device intended for making high
quality record of voice messages into a built-

in ash memory. The recordings can be further
uploaded onto the PC. The Recorder can be used

simultaneously as a voice recorder when recording

messages and a ash media when storing

and transferring data of any standards (under

“Recmanager” control).

Supplied Software makes it possible to:

• Save the recorded messages on the PC as
standard sound les;

• Restore compressed pauses when uploading
les onto the drive;

• Set the recorder’s parameters;

• Apply password protection of the access to the
recorder’s settings and information;

• Update software.

Recorder’s Functional Testing

Remove the lid (position 7) and insert the batteries

observing the polarity. To start or stop recording

keep the button “Record” (position 1) pressed for

about 2 seconds until the LED (position 3) turns
on. When the recorder starts recording, the LED
ashes ve times. While recording, two series of
LED ashes show the battery charge and free
memory size (see Instructions on the attached
CD for more details). When the recorder stops
recording, the LED ashes once. The duration of
the last ash depends on the recorder’s memory
size.

To play back the recording upload it onto a hard

drive with the help of “Rec Manager” program
(located on the attached CD). To connect to the

PC use the cable (position 5) and connect the PC

connector (position 4) to the USB port of the PC.
Both AA standard batteries and AA rechargeable
batteries can be used for the recorder’s power
supply.

How to install and extract batteries

To install or extract the batteries remove the lid

(position 7) by slightly pressing its ledges. Install
the batteries observing the polarity. Otherwise the
recorder may malfunction. In case of difculty see

Instructions on the attached CD.

Attention! To avoid deformation or breakage of the

case don’t install the rechargeable batteries more
than 1800 mAh.
