Miniature Digital Voice Recorder EDIC-mini Tiny16

А12 is intended for the professional recording of
the voice messages into built-in ash-memory
with following download of the data to the PC. The
recorder may be used as a ash-memory for
storage and carrying over of the data in any format
under the executing of “RecManager” software.

Recorder’s Functional Testing

Starting Recording.

Press the record button and hold it for about 2 seconds.
The LED will designate the beginning of the recording
with ve short ashes. During the recording the LED
will signal with a number of short ashes about the
rechargeable battery state and available free memory
(for details see “User’s manual” in the internal memory of
the recorder). To stop it, press the record button and hold
it for about 2 seconds. The LED will ash once and the
duration of the ash will depend on the memory capacity.

Playing back the Recording.

Connect the cable to the recorder and then to the PC
USB port. A new removable media will appear in system,
start “RecManager.exe” from it. The contents of the
recorder will be reected on the left side of the opened
program window. Select the record, click the right mouse
button and select “Copy to the PC” in the context menu.
The record will be converted into wav format and will be
observed on the right side of program window. To play
the record, double click it with the left mouse button. To
disconnect the recorder from PC, detach the USB cable
from PC and then from the recorder.

Operating instructions of the recorder and
“RecManager” program are located in the internal
memory of the device in les “EM Tiny16 Manual.
pdf” and “RecManager for Tiny16 Manual.pdf”, that
are reected on the removable media.

Recommendation: Copy the removable media
content on a hard disk of your PC to solve probable
problems during the operation with the DVR..

Battery charging

Connect the cable to the recorder and then to the
PC USB port. The LED will ash once, charging
will begin. During the charging of the rechargeable
battery the LED ashes gradually with a ve
second interval. When the charging is complete,
the LED will ash gradually without intervals.

Detach the USB cable from PC port. On this
occasion after a short pause, the LED will ash
once.

Attention! If you don’t use your recorder for a
long time, the recharging battery must be charged
not less than once in half a year.

but not more than 2 years from the manufacturing
