British Style Overdrive
Crown was designed to mimic a variety of “British School” amps! From a clean Plexi® and AC®, to rich and
full detailed JMC® overdrive tones. Ideal for boost a British amp to get crunch tone at lower level, or giving that
British tone to every amp.
Using jfet technology and combining 3 calibrated stages in cascade mode, the tone is very smooth, “tube
like” and touch sensitive, adding natural- musical compression at high gain settings.
Equipped with 3 Knobs (drive, Color & level) and 2 toggle switches (fat & hot) The “Crown” B.O.D. is very
versatile and easy to dial up with different types of amps and guitars.
“Color” is a very powerful control offers a useful range of sounds. With this control you can go through a
range of British style amps, but also to match the pedal between different guitars and amps. Combining with the
“Drive” control you have unlimited “sweet spots”!
There is more! You have the ability to “modify” the “amp” you just select! Give bass and body with the “fat”
toggle switch, and more punch and bite with the “hot” toggle switch.
“Color” is very interactive with “fat” and “hot” switches, so be wise with these adjustments.
Controls:
VOL : Adjusts the volume of the pedal
DRIVE: Adjusts the amount of gain
COLOR: Adjusts the tone of pedal selecting amp style at the same time
FAT switch: Gives bass and body to the sound
HOT switch: “Hot” modification, providing punch and bite.
