Unzip and open the bag
compartment.
Remove the used vacuum bag
by pulling the green bag collar
tab away from the vacuum.
Firstly, ensure that the
machine is switched off.
Slide the bag out of the bag
holder which automatically
seals the bag opening and place
to one side.
Lay the machine on the floor and
undo the 4 screws surround the
vacuum bag holder using a crosshead screwdriver.
Remove the vacuum bag
holder.
Remove the rubber gasket.
Remove the bag compartment.
Please note that the battery clamp
is currently positioned beneath the
lug on the handle duct.

Please note that the latch is
also not symmetrical.
The battery clamp will be
positioned between (1) and (2)
when assembled.
Hold the latch against the
reverse side of the handle duct.
Note latch orientation.
Unscrew the 2 screws in the
battery clamp.
Remove the battery and battery
clamp.
Please note that the battery
clamp is not symmetrical.
Hold the battery clamp to the
handle duct without releasing
the latch.
Ensure that the latch and the
battery clamp are aligned
correctly as shown.
Secure the battery clamp to
the latch by screwing the 2
screws.
