washer that operates at 3,700 PSI at a flow rate of

ALWAYS point gun in safe direction and squeeze spray gun
tri_er_ to release pressure and avoid kickback each time,
before starting engine. Engage trigger Ioc!< when not in use.
When starting engine, pull cord slow,iy until resistance is felt
and then pull rapidly to avoid kickback.
After each starting attempt, where engine fails to run, always
point gun in safe direction and squeeze spray gun trigger to
release high pressure.
Firmly grasp spray gun with both hands when using high
pressure spray to avoid injury when gun kicks back.

NEVER aim spray gun at people, animals or plants,

Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) Tide 36 Parks, Forests, and
Public Property require equipment powered by an internal
combustion engine to have a spark arrester, maintained in
effective working order, complying to USDA Forest service
standard SIOB-IC or" later revision. In the State of California a
spark arrester is required under section 4442 of the California
Public resources code. Other states may have similar laws.

If you have any probHems with the assembHy of your
pressure washer or if parts are missing or damage& caHHthe

To prepare your pressure washer for operation, you
will need to perform these tasks:
H. Firthout and send in registration card.
2. Verify oiHdipstick has been installed into pump (Figure H).
3. Attach handle to main unit.
4. Add oiHto engine.
5. Add fuel to fuel tank.
6. Connect high pressure hose to spray gun and pump.
7. Connect water supply to pump.
8. Connect nozzHeextension to spray gun.
9. SeHectand instaHHdesired quick connect spray tip.

Section 3: Assembly
Attach Handle
H. PHace handHe assembHy onto handHe supports connected
to main unit. Hake sure holies in handHe aHign with holies
on handHe supports (Figure 2).

2. Insert carriage boHts through holies from outside of unit
and attach pHastic knob on inside of handHes (Figure 3).

NOTE: Check oiHoften during engine break-in. Refer to
engine operator's manua[ for recommendations.
Connect Hose and Water Supply to
iMPORTANT:To avoid pump damage,you must assembHe
the nozzHe extension to the spray gun and attach aHHhoses
before you start the engine.
H. UncoiH high pressure hose and attach quick connect
end of hose to base of spray gun (Figure 4). PuHHdown
on coHHarof quick connect, sHide onto spray gun and Het
go of coHHar.Tugon hose to be sure of tight connection.

squeeze trigger to purge pump system of air and

How to Start En ine
The best way to start your pressure washer for the first
time is to follow these instructions step-by-step.This
starting information aHso appHies if you have Het the unit sit
idHe for at Heast a day.
H. PHace pressure washer near an outside water source
capabHe of suppHying water at a flow rate greater than
5.0 gaHHons per minute and no Hess than 20 PSI at
pressure washer end of garden hose.
2. Hake sure unit is in a level position.
3. Check that highpressure hose is connected to spray
gun and pump. See "Preparing Pressure VVasher for
Use" for iHHustrations.
4. Connect garden hose to water inHet on pressure
washer pump.
5. Turn ON water, point gun in a safe direction and
squeeze trigger to purge pump system of air and

I. Let engine idle for two minutes.
2. Turn engine off according to instructions given in
engine operator's manual,
3. ADA/AYS point gun in a safe direction and squeeze
spray gun trigger to release retained high water
pressure.
mNPORTANT: Spray gun traps high water pressure, even
when engine is stopped and water is disconnected,
ALWAYS point gun in safe direction and squeeze sp_y gun
trigger, to release pressure and avoid kickback each time,
before starting engine.
When starting engine, pull cord slowly until resistance is felt
and then pull rapidly to avoid kickback.
After each s_rting attempt, where engine fails to run, always
point gun in safe direction and squeeze spray gun trigger to
release high pressure.
Firmly grasp sp_y gun with both hands when using high
pressure sp_y to avoid injury when gun kicks back.
NOTE: Always keep the throttle lever in the "Fast"
position when operating the pressure washer.
WARNING
Keep high pressure hose connected to pump and spray gun
while system is pressurized.
ALVVAYS point gun in safe direction and squeeze spray gun
trigger, to release high pressure, every time you stop engine.
Engage trigger Ioc!< when not in use.
