Assembly
ASSEMBLY
IMPORTANT: Read entire owner'smanualbefore you
attempt to assembleor operateyour new pressure washer.
Remove Pressure Washer from

• Remove the parts ba_ accessories, and insert included
with pressure washer,
• Slice two corners at the end of" carton from top to
bottom so the panel can be folded down fiat, then
remove alt packing material
• Roll pressure washer out of carton.

To prepare your pressure washer for operation, you
will need to perform these tasks:
I. Fill out and send in registration card.
2. Attach handle to main unit.
3. Add oilto engine crankcase.
4. Add fuel to fuel tank.
5. Connect high pressure hose to spray gun and pump.
6. Connect water supply to pump.

I. Place handle assembly onto handle supports connected
to main unit. Make sure holes in handle align with holes
on handle supports (Figure I).

NOTE: It may be necessary to move the handle supports
from side to side in order to align the handle so it wilt slide
over the handle supports.
2. Insert carriage bolts through holes from outside of unit
and attach a plastic knob from inside of unit (Figure 2),
Tighten by hand.
PREPARING PRESSURE
WASHER FOR USE
If you have any problems with the assembly of your
pressure washer or if paris are missing or damaged, call the
pressure washer helpline at 1-888-611-6708. If calling for
assistance, pte_se have the mode{, revision, and serial
number from the model data decal available.

Insert one "U' hook through hote iust under billboard
on left side of handle (viewing from rear of unit). Hold
hook in ptace with a pliers and attach Iocknut with a
7/16" wrench (Figure 3).

Add Engine Oil and Fuel
• Place pressure WaSher on a level surface.
• Refer to engine owner's manuat and follow oil and fuel
recommendations and instructions.
CAUTION
• Refer to engine manua_ foroH and rue{ fill information,
• Damage to equipment resulting from failure to follow this
instruction will void warranty.
NOTE: Check oil often during engine break-in. Refer to
engine owner's manua{ for recommendations.

Checklist Before Starting Engine
Review the unit's assembly to confirm you have performed
allof the following:
I. Make sure handle is in place and secure.
2. Check that oit has been added to the proper level in
the engine crankc_e.
3. Add proper fuel to fuel tank.
4. Check for properly tightened hose connections.
5. Check to make sure that there are no kinks, cuts, or
damage to the high pressure hose.
6, Provide a proper water supply at an adequate flow.
7, Be sure to read "SafeLy Rules" and "How To Use Your
PressureWasher" before using the pressure washer.

HOW TO USE PRESSURE
WASHER

To Start Pressure Washer

To start your pressure washer for the first time, follow these

you have let the pressure washer sit idte for at ieast a day.

capable of supplying water at a flow rate greater than

Section 4: Operation
How to Stop Pressure Washer
• Turn engine off according to instructions _ven in engine
owner's manual.
• Squeeze trigger on spray gun to relieve pressure
in hose,
NOTE: A small amount of water wilt squirt out when you
release the pressure,
How to Use Adjustable Nozzle
You should now know how to START and STOP your
pressure washer.The information in this section wilt tell
you how to adjust the spray pattern and to apply detergent
or other cleaning chemicals.

Point nozzle down towards a firm surface and press
trigger to test spray pattern (Figure I0).

Section 4: Operation
Applying Detergent with the
Adjustable Nozzle
IMPORTANT: Use soaps designed specifically for
pressure washers. Household detergents could damage
the pump,

To apply detergent, follow these steps:
I, Review use of adjustable nozzles,
2. Prepare detergent solution as required by job.
3. Place filter end of chemical injection hose into
detergent container.
CAUTION

Detergent cannot be applied with nozzle in high

5. Make sure garden hose is connected to water inlet,

portion of area to be washed and work upward, using

7. Allow detergent to "soak in" for 3-5 minutes before
washing and rinsing. Reapply as needed to prevent
surface from drying. DO NOT allow detergent to dry
on (prevents streaking).
IMPORTANT:You must flush the chemical injection
system after each use by placing the filter into a bucket of
clean water, then run the pressure washer in low pressure
for I-2 minutes.
Pressure Washer Rinsing
For Rinsing:
I. Slide nozzle backward to high pressure, press trigger
and wait for detergentto clear.
NOTE: You can also stop detergent from flowing by simply
removing chemical injection hose from bottle.
2. Keep spray gun a safe distance from area you plan to
spray.
3, Apply a high pressure spray to a small area, then check
the surface for damage, If no damage is found, it is okra/
to continue cleaning.

Automatic Cool Down System
(Thermal Relief)
If you run the engine on your pressure washer for
3-5 minutes without pressing the trigger on the spray gun,
circulating water in the pump can reach temperatures
above 125=F.The system engages to cool the pump by
discharging the warm water onto the ground.
