DESCRIPTION
ON/OFF VOLUME on-off knob and demodulated audio
volume. Always keep it off when replacing battery, avoiding irreparable damage to the detector by reversing polarity. Use only alkaline batteries, as ordinary batteries do not provide sufficient current.
BATTERY LEVEL indicating 8 or 9 for new batteries and
1 for uncharged batteries.
BARGRAPH signal indication system, it is made by bars,
16 lighted bars indicate the highest signal level, around 0dBm.
CLEAN TEST keep this button pressed when turning the
detector on to enter clean test mode. In this state the detector memorizes and always shows the largest signal, remaining this state until the detector is turned off. This mode is also used to find trackers and other intermitent devices.
INT DETECT while this key is pressed, the same function
described above is performed temporarily like in the CLEAN TEST mode. Used for checking intermittent devices that send only one pulse and can go unnoticed in a conventional sweep. This is the temporary CLEAN TEST mode.
BEEP ON/OFF turns the beep on and off, when the beep
is on, the letter "B" appears in the display.

SPEAKER you can listen to the demodulated audio. AM
and FM conversations are possible to understand, digital communications are listened like pulsating sounds or buzzing. It is important to memorize the sounds of various digital devices during the tests to be identified in future scans.
ANTENNA CONNECTOR where one of the 3 antennas
included in the kit must be connected by tapping, do not overtighten, out of use remove and store in the carrying case to avoid physical damage. Other antennas can be connected and used with this detector. Input impedance: 50 OHMS and the maximum input power: 10dBM, higher powers can cause damage to the detector.
PHONE JACK connect stereo or mono headphones. The
jack is stereo with monaural connection, 8 to 32 OHMS headphones can be used.
DBM LEVEL indication of RF level in dBm, works only in
analog mode.
ANA/DIGI analog / digital mode change key, An or Di
appear on the display indicating the selected operating mode.
TRIGER POINT key to set beep trigger point. Each time
this key is pressed the point advances one position up to
16. The chosen position coincides with the signal level required for the beep trigger.

ANTENNAS
The signal capture system consists of 3 antennas designed for different types of spy transmitters and frequencies:
Low frequency HF and VHF antenna with superior
performance at lower frequencies, blocks high frequency signals UHF, SHF. It is the antenna used for basic eavesdropping scans that operate over the commercial FM range and VHF.
High frequency antenna SHF+ high performance at high
frequencies. Blocks low-frequency signals such as FM radio stations and reduces interference when searching for digital devices located at higher frequencies, cellular devices, WIFI, bluetooth, trackers, GSM tapping etc. This is the most effective antenna to find the today ultimate technologies spy devices.

Medium frequency UHF and SHF antenna better
performance in frequencies from 800 to 2400 Mhz, indicated to detect all the spy devices between UHF and SHF- this antenna has no filter and can be used in general way or as the initial sweep antenna.
RECEIVING DEMODULATED AUDIO
This model has an audio demodulator to listen to the spy devices sound on the internal speaker or optional headphones. Depending on the type of spy device we are listening, the sound will be audible. AM and FM conversations are possible to understand, digital devices will be heard as noises, pulsating sounds or buzzing.
We encourage users to make as many tests as possible to familiarize themselves with the demodulated sounds, for example, make a call next to the detector in GSM and 4G mode, verify the difference in the listened sounds. So during a sweep when a similar sound is heard, its identification will be easier.
All local transmitters and spy devices will be received at the same time, the stronger the signal, the louder the audio volume.

The audio receiver is turned on while the detector is on. The only setting is the audio volume controlled by the same knob used to turn the detector on and off. To not listen to the audio, leave the volume knob to a minimum.
DIGITAL / ANALOG MODE
Next to the battery indication level, appears "Di" indicating that the detector is in digital mode or "An" in analog mode. Press the analog/digital key to toggle the operating mode.

In analog mode the LCD display preferably shows the
signals from devices such as analog eavesdropping and analog wireless video cameras. In digital mode, the display shows the signals of digital devices like GSM bugs, trackers, cell phones, routers, WIFI cameras etc. Hi power analog transmitters can interfere with digital mode detection by having continuous carrier wave overlapping the digital signals.
CONTINUOUS AND INSTANT MEMORY
By pressing and holding the "MEM" key, the signal strength shown is frozen at the highest value and the indication will only be updated if there is an even stronger signal, the strongest signal will always be displayed until we stop pressing the key.
In the CLN TEST mode (page 5), the strongest signal sampling remains until the detector is turned off. This mode is used for checking a safe room or for discovering intermittent devices such as vehicle trackers.
We must use CLN TEST to know if the environment remains clean. After scanning, even if considered safe room, tests should be performed continuously, since spy devices may be inert hidden in the room and at any time start broadcasting. The detector must be continuously on-site in CLN TEST mode to indicate if any wireless spy device become active.

If a safe room is constructed correctly, there will be no RF signal inside the room. If it is in a more remote or underground location, the signal level will be small or null depending on the existence of nearby transmitting equipment such as routers, Wi-Fi, AM FM radio stations, cell phone tower etc.
Safe rooms are built by making a metallic shield around the room, for more information, search the internet for "Faraday's cage".
By letting the detector on, inside the safe room, we can be sure to be in a clean environment without wireless spy devices.
TRACKING DEVICES
The following information refers more specifically to tracking devices who send the information over the cellular mobile network, the most common is the GSM tracker. Other types of trackers do not use the mobile network, transmit directly to the receiver and have low range, but the way of discovering these other wireless trackers is similar since they all transmit information by radiofrequency.
To enter signal memory mode to locate trackers, hold CLN TEST key and turn on the Detector, release the key and wait for the unit to start operating, CLN TEST will appear on the LCD display, and any signal will be displayed and stored. The display will always indicate the strongest signal during the time you stay in this mode.

Take the vehicle to place where there is no radio interference, a location far from the city, an underground garage, or any place where the signals are very weak.
With the detector in the CLN TEST mode, you must wait for some strong signal coming from the car, if it occurs, it will probably be the signal from the tracker transmitting or trying to transmit the location information. It is important that all phones on the site are turned off or in airplane mode.
Trackers are programmed to transmit location information every 1, 5, 10 or more minutes of interval, or only when information is requested by the spy by sending an SMS to the tracker chip number.
A place where there is no interference and no mobile signal, where the cell phone does not work, this is the best possible place to scan the car. Without signal the tracker will be transmitting trying to find a operator signal and it will facilitate the detection and discovery of the tracking device.
During the time the detector is turned on in CLN TEST mode it will always indicate the strongest signal that has already been received since entering this mode of operation.
If no signal is detected, there should be no tracker or other spy device in the vehicle. For better scanning efficiency, the test should be performed with the detector on the inside and outside of the car, front and back.

SCANNING THE PLACE
Scanning the environment may be more dificult in places where existis signals from others RF transmitters coming from outside, we treat these signals as "interferences" because they can cover and camouflage the signals from the spy devices we are looking for.
Scanning at a location near a Wi-Fi router is limited to searching only for spy devices with greater power than the router. It is also necessary to consider that the router itself can be a spy device. Inside a router may be hidden a wifi camera or others recorders and transmitters. To make sure the router is not a spy device, a technician must open the cover and visually check the inside. Another option is to buy a new one directly in the store and place inviolable seals so that it can not be opened and adulterated.
By scanning all locations in the environment, checking for strong signal levels that may indicate a local signal, any suspicious device or object should be analyzed internally. Currently most listening devices and wireless cameras use the cellular network or wifi to send images and audio. Environments where the cell phone does not work and does not have wifi network, help in the scan and improve the level of local security.
Any device that emits radiofrequency, even if disconnected from the outlet may contain internal spy devices running on battery power. Other objects may also contain hidden eavesdroppers, especially those with internal compartments.

IN THE MEETINGS
All mobile phones communicate with carrier towers even when they are not on a call. This communication occurs through sporadic data exchanges necessary to locate the device and maintain contact to send messages or make calls. This can also happen via data or wi-fi, so there is always data exchange that makes the cell transmit. Depending on the schedule, applications can still send and receive update data.
The mobile device may contain spyware, which causes the phone to broadcast during an environment conversation, send photos, videos, copy messages, and so on, is the so-called spy cell phone.
Spy Cell Phone is a normal cell phone with spy software installed. These phones are remotely controlled by the spy who installed the software and are capable of remotely listening, transmitting data, receiving location, photos and images without any indication on the phone display.
All cell phones must be switched off and placed side by side on a table together with the detector. The beep should be activated at a level above the local interference and if one of the cell phones has not been turned off, or if it is a spy cell phone, it will be detected and the beep will sound.

CONVENTIONAL TELEPHONE LINE
Wireless spy devices connected inside the handset are easily detected. Make a call with the detector next to the telephone set, the spy will be active during the call and the transmission will be detected.
The installation of wireless spy devices can also be done on the physical telephone line, inside or outside the environment. In this case, to make the measurement, move the detector antenna close to the telephone wire line. The wire line is used by the spy transmitter as an antenna and the RF level on it is high when we take the handset off hook activating the spy device.
CORRELATION FUNCTION
We can confirm the presence of FM or AM spies by the local signal level or by the presence of audio correlation when listening to our audio retransmitted by the spy device.
Correlation mode means to listen in real time our own voice transmitted by the spy microphone on the loudspeaker of the detector, or other sound that is being emitted in the place.
To correlate audio, it is better to use headphones and produce some sound in the environment such as music or a radio. If the sound in the headphones is the same sound means the spy is retransmitting the sound you are lintening.

In certain cases, with the detector speaker near to the spy microphone, we can hear the audio feedback like an audio tone, this confirm that the detector is near to the spy microphone.
BEEP MODE
The detector is equipped with a beep type sound device emits whistles when the detected signal reaches a pre­programmed level by the user.
The sensitivity for triggering (trigger point) is set from 1 to 16. When the detector is turned on, the trigger point is set at level 3, when the trigger point is changed the corresponding signal bar flashes indicating the new level, each time the BEEP SENS key is pressed increases the trigger point level, level 16 is the set for less sensitivity. After selecting the desired point, press the "BEEP ON OFF" key to activate the beep, the letter "B" appears indicating that the beep is on, pressing the key again will turn the beep off.
Level 3 is a relatively high security level. Any local transmitting device, even if it is not a spy device, easily reaches this level and triggers the beep, even a wireless telephone or a WIFI router reaches level 3. In cases where other devices or the local interference reaches the level 3, will be necessary to raise the level so that the beep does not sound, this decreases the level of security, only more powerful spy devices will be detected and the weakest or most distant ones will be camouflaged by the interference.

DETECTOR FREQUENCY AND SENSITIVITY
In a safe room, even if the spy device signal is weak, less
than -50dBm, still will be detected.
DBM LEVEL MEASUREMENT
To measure dBm level, select the analog mode "An" and the display will indicate the dBm level. When the received signal is greater than 0 dBm (1mW), a visual alarm will be displayed and audible warning beeps will sound.
Never approach the antenna near high-power radio sources such as walkie-talkies, excessive power may cause damage to the detector.
In digital mode, the dBm meter is inactive due to the speed of the digital pulses, in this case, to know the dBm level, convert the number of bars using the following table:

BATTERY
The battery condition is shown on the LCD above in the left corner, represented by a number from 1 to 9 or by the letter "F", the number 8 or 9 indicates battery fully charged, "F" indicates a battery with a voltage greater than 9.3 volts, use only good quality alkaline batteries, the detector will not work with other types of batteries.
Never keep the battery inside the detector for extended periods of time, as it may leak causing damage to the detector that is not covered by the warranty.
During battery replacement, turn off the detector and be careful, do not reverse the battery polarity causing irreversible damage to the circuit.

OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
Directional Log Periodic Antenna covers from UHF to
frequencies up to 8Ghz. With this antenna we obtain the direction of the signal. When positioned in the direction of the emitter, the level of the signal increase. Use near or far from the spy device.
Inside brick walls place, the antenna can pick up the signal reflected from the walls giving the wrong direction indication, it is most useful in environments without reflective walls, open places or closer to the spy emitter, helping in the identification of false signals.
