Informationen zum Vorbild, Baureihe 648.
Das umfangreiche Beschaffungsprogramm der Deutschen Bahn
AG bezieht sich auch auf mehrere Baureihen moderner Dieseltriebzüge. Die Baureihe 648 (LINT 41/LINT 41H) der DB AG soll
vielerorts die Baureihe 628 ablösen und Nahverkehrsstrecken
für Bahnkunden attraktiver gestalten.
Die Abkürzung LINT steht für „Leichter Innovativer Nahverkehrstriebwagen“. Die schnittigen, zweiteiligen Züge gibt es
in 2 Ausführungen; mit Tief- und Hocheinstiegen und bieten 16
Sitze in der 1. Klasse, 98 in der 2. Klasse, 15 Klappsitze und 103
Stehplätze. Die Züge verfügen über großzügige Toiletten, Fahr
kartenautomaten und bieten behindertengerechte Einstiegsrampen. Im Niederflurbereich ist der Boden auf 58 cm (78 cm beim
LINT 41H) abgesenkt.
Die Baureihe 648 erreicht eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von
120 km/h und mittels Scharfenberg-Kupplung lässt er sich mit
anderen Triebzügen leicht kuppeln und als Mehrfachtraktion
einsetzen.
Information about the Prototype, The Class 648.
The German Railroad, Inc.‘s extensive procurement program
encompasses several classes of modern diesel powered rail car
trains. The DB AG‘s class 648 (LINT 41 / LINT 41H) is intended to
replace the 628 in many places and make commuter routes more
attractive for railroad passengers.
The abbreviation LINT stands for “Lightweight Innovative Commuter Service Cars“ in German. There are 2 versions of these
streamlined, two-unit trains, with low platform and high platform
steps. They offer seating for 16 in first class, 98 in second class,
15 fold-down seats, and 103 places for standing. The trains are
well equipped with restrooms, ticket machines, and they offer
entry ramps for handicapped people. The floor of these trains is
lowered by 58 cm / 22-13/16“ in the depressed floor area (78 cm /
30-11/16“ on the LINT 41/H).
The class 648 reaches a maximum speed of 120 km/h / 75 mph
and can be coupled easily to other powered rail car trains
by means of Scharfenberg couplers and used in multiple unit
operation.

Le vaste programme d‘acquisition de la Deutsche Bahn AG comprend également plusieurs séries de rames automotrices diesel
modernes. En de nombreux endroits, la série 648 (LINT 41 /
LINT 41H) de la DB AG est censée remplacer la série 628 et
rendre des lignes pour trafic à petite distance plus attrayantes
pour les clients du chemin de fer.
L‘abréviation LINT signifie «Leichter Innovativer Nahver
kehrstriebwagen» (automotrice légère innovante pour
trafic à courte distance). Il existe deux versions de ces trains
aérodynamiques à deux éléments : avec accès bas et accès
hauts. Ils offrent 16 places en 1re classe, 98 en seconde, 15
sièges rabattables et 103 places debout. Les rames disposent de
toilettes confortables, de billetteries automatiques et de rampes
d‘accès pour les personnes handicapées. Dans la partie basse,
le plancher est abaissé à 58 cm (78 cm pour la LINT 41/H).
La série 648 atteint une vitesse maximale de 120 km/h et
l‘attelage Scharfenberg permet de l‘atteler facilement à d‘autres
rames automotrices et de l‘utiliser en traction multiple.

Het omvangrijke aanschaffingsprogramma van de Deutsche
Bahn AG heeft ook betrekking op meerdere series moderne
dieseltreinstellen. De serie 648 (LINT 41/LINT 41H) van de DB AG
zal op veel plaatsen de serie 628 aflossen en buurtverkeerslijnen
voor spoorwegklanten attractiever vormgeven.
De afkorting LINT staat voor „Leichter Innovativer Nahverkehrstriebwagen“. De spitse, tweedelige treinen zijn er in 2 uitvoeringen: met lage en hoge instappen en bieden 16 zitplaatsen
in de 1ste klasse, 98 in de 2 klasse, 15 klapstoelzitplaatsen en
103 staanplaatsen. De treinen beschikken over royale toiletten,
plaatskaartautomaten en bieden instaphellingen voor gehandicapten. In het lagevloerbereik is de vloer tot 58 cm (78 cm bij het
LINT 41/H) verlaagd.
De serie 648 bereikt een maximumsnelheid van 120 km/h en via
Scharfenberg-koppelingen laat hij zich met andere treintreinen
licht koppelen en als meervoudige tractie inzetten.

Sicherheitshinweise
• Die Lok darf nur mit einem dafür bestimmten Betriebssystem
(Märklin Wechselstrom-Transformator 6647, Märklin Delta,
Märklin Digital oder Märklin Systems) eingesetzt werden.
Nur Transformatoren verwenden, die Ihrer örtlichen
Netzspannung entsprechen.
Keinesfalls Transformatoren für eine Netzspannung von
220 V bzw. 110 V einsetzen.
• Die Lok darf nur aus einer Leistungsquelle gleichzeitig
versorgt werden.
• Beachten Sie unbedingt die Sicherheitshinweise in der
Gebrauchsanleitung zu Ihrem Betriebssystem.
• Für den konventionellen Betrieb der Lok muss das Anschlussgleis entstört werden. Dazu ist das Entstörset 74046 zu verwenden. Für Digitalbetrieb ist das Entstörset nicht geeignet.
Die bei normalem Betrieb anfallenden Wartungsarbeiten sind
nachfolgend beschrieben. Für Reparaturen oder Ersatzteile
wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Märklin-Fachhändler.
Jegliche Garantie-, Gewährleistungs- und Schadensersatzansprüche sind
ausgeschlossen, wenn in Märklin-Produkten nicht von Märklin freigegebene Fremdteile eingebaut werden und / oder Märklin-Produkte umgebaut

• This locomotive must never be supplied with power from

• The feeder track must be equipped to prevent interference
with radio and television reception, when the locomotive is
to be run in conventional operation. The 74046 interference
suppression set is to be used for this purpose.
The maintenance work necessary with normal operation of
this locomotive is described below. Please see your authorized
Märklin dealer for repairs or spare parts.
No warranty or damage claims shall be accepted in those cases where
parts neither manufactured nor approved by Märklin have been installed
in Märklin products or where Märklin products have been converted in

Remarques importantes sur la sécurité

système d’exploitation adéquat (Märklin courant alternatif
- transformateur 6647, Märklin Delta, Märklin Digital ou
Märklin Systems).
Utilisez uniquement des transformateurs correspondant à
la tension secteur locale.
N‘ utilisez en aucun cas des transformateurs pour une
tension de secteur de 220 V, respectivement 110 V.
• La locomotive ne peut être alimentée en courant que par une
seule source de courant.
• Veuillez impérativement respecter les remarques sur la
sécurité décrites dans le mode d’emploi de votre le système
d’exploitation.
• Pour l’exploitation de la locomotive en mode conventionnel,
la voie de raccordement doit être déparasitée. A cet effet,
utiliser le set de déparasitage réf. 74046. Le set de déparasitage ne convient pas pour l’exploitation en mode numérique.
Les travaux d‘entretien occasionnels à effectuer en exploitation
normale sont décrits plus loin. Pour toute réparation ou remplacement de pièces, adressez vous à votre détaillant-spécialiste
Märklin.
Tout recours à une garantie commerciale ou contractuelle ou à une
demande de dommages-intérêt est exclu si des pièces non autorisées
par Märklin sont intégrées dans les produits Märklin et / ou si les produits
Märklin sont transformés et si les pièces d’autres fabricants montées
ou la transformation constituent la cause des défauts et / ou dommages
apparus. C’est à la personne et / ou la société responsable du montage
