VS Series 120V 500VA 250W Line-Interactive Desktop UPS, Tower, 6 Outlets

MODEL NUMBER: VS500AVR

Provides affordable power protection for your desktop computer and other consumer electronics, such as monitors, modems and hard drives. Protects against blackouts, brownouts and over/undervoltages.

Description

The VS500AVR VS Series 120V, 500VA/250W Line-Interactive Desktop Uninterruptible Power Supply provides battery backup and AC power protection at an affordable price. Perfectly suited for backing up your desktop computer and peripherals, such as monitors and modems, this line-interactive UPS switches to battery backup mode in milliseconds to keep your connected equipment running long enough during blackouts and brownouts to save files and shut down safely with no data loss.

While all six NEMA 5-15R outlets protect against surges, three outlets also provide up to 18 minutes of UPS battery support for a basic desktop PC and an LCD monitor, as well as 8.2 minutes of support at half-load (125W).

Ideal for home and office locations with unstable utility or generator power, the VS500AVR features microprocessor-controlled automatic voltage regulation (AVR) that corrects severe undervoltages as low as 76V and overvoltages as high as 147V without using any battery power. EMI/RFI noise filtering improves your equipment’s performance and prevents damage.

To keep your mobile phone and other small devices charged during long outages, the VS500AVR’s “cold start” feature lets you turn on the unit to periodically run connected equipment without using AC power. NEMA 5-15P plug with 4-foot cord connects to any NEMA 5-15R socket. Auto-frequency feature supports 50 Hz or 60 Hz input power. Front-panel LEDs and an audible alarm offer instant information about power, AVR and overload status.
