Installation
1. Pull out the self-storing cable beneath the docking station and
connect it to a laptop, tablet or any other USB-C compatible
device.
2. Connect an HDMI-compliant display to the docking station
with a user-supplied HDMI cable, such as Tripp Lite’s P569Series (sold separately).
3. Repeat Step 2 for the Mini DisplayPort and VGA ports
compatible user-supplied cables.
Note: The following Table depicts the maximum resolution achieved on
each video port based on the connected displays.
• Mac sources allow only one monitor to be extended while the other
one or two displays will always be mirrored
• Windows sources allow you to extend across all three screens.
• Only one 4K display @ 30 Hz can be extended in an application.
If both HDMI and Mini DisplayPort are being extended, the HDMI
resolution will automatically drop to 1080p.
Why am I not able to display resolutions of 4096 x 2160 @
30 Hz?
A. Click [Display Setting] > [Advanced Display Settings], then
choose the desired resolution manually.
B. Ensure the device, display and cable all support 4096 x 2160
@ 30 Hz HD.
Why does my PD charging time vary?
The upstream device (laptop) will auto-adjust the power input
based on the battery level at that current time.
Why won’t my HDMI, Mini DisplayPort and VGA displays
show different screens?
Most MacBook laptops do not support MST, allowing you to
extend only one screen and mirror the other.
