Opening / Closing the Tool

To open the tool handles, simply squeeze them together and release. To lock the handles in place, squeeze them together and push the lock button.

Stripping Round Cable

Insert the cable into the slot located in front of the lower scoring cable. Squeeze the tool’s handles and rotate the tool around the cable to score the jacket. Pull off the jacket.

Cutting Cable

One side of the tool is a single blade for cutting cable. Insert the cable to the desired length into the slot underneath the blade. Then cut the cable by squeezing the handles together until the cable cleanly separates.

Crimping Connectors

Once the jacket has been stripped from the cable, insert the cable wires into an appropriate plug. Follow by inserting the plug into the tool’s corresponding 6-Pin or 8-Pin slot, then squeeze the handles to crimp.

Warranty and Product Registration

3-Year Limited Warranty

TRIPP LITE warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of initial purchase. TRIPP LITE’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole option) any such defective products. To obtain service under this warranty, you must obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number from TRIPP LITE or an

authorized TRIPP LITE service center. Products must be returned to TRIPP LITE or an authorized TRIPP LITE service center with transportation charges prepaid and must be accompanied by a brief description

of the problem encountered and proof of date and place of purchase. This warranty does not apply to equipment, which has been damaged by accident, negligence or misapplication or has been altered or modified in any way.

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, TRIPP LITE MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Some states do not permit limitation or exclusion of implied warranties; therefore, the aforesaid limitation(s) or exclusion(s) may not apply to the purchaser.

Apertura / Cierre de la Herramienta

Para abrir los mangos de la herramienta, simplemente oprímalos y suéltelos. Para bloquear los mangos en su lugar, apriételos entre sí y presione el botón de bloqueo.

Pelado de Cable Redondo

Inserte el cable en la ranura ubicada frente al cable marcado más bajo. Apriete los mangos de la herramienta y gírela alrededor del cable para marcar el forro. Jale el forro hacia afuera.

Corte de Cable

Un lado de la herramienta es una sola cuchilla para cortar el cable. Inserte la longitud deseada del cable en la ranura bajo la cuchilla. Después, corte el cable, oprimiendo los mangos hasta que el cable se separe limpiamente.

Compresión de Conectores

Una vez que ha sido retirado el forro del cable, inserte los hilos del cable en una clavija adecuada. Siga insertando la clavija en la ranura correspondiente de 6 pines u 8 pines de la herramienta, entonces apriete los mangos para prensar.
