INSTALLATION GUIDE SPECIFICATION SHEET
1. Mounting location: The TA50 can be mounted either internally or externally. The antenna must be mounted in a location that will assure the best possible (360º at the horizon) unobstructed view of the GPS satellite constellation in level flight – for example, on the roof of the aircraft or on top of the glare shield.
2. Ensure that the surface area where the antenna is to be mounted
is clean and free from dust or grease.
3. Stick the included adhesive pad to the base of the antenna. Peel off the other side of the pad and position the antenna in the desired location, pressing down firmly to permanently attach.
4. Route the cable to the GPS receiver, taking care to avoid locations where it may rub or trap controls.
