CONGRATULATIONS
on your purchase of Booster, part of our Tonebug series of eect pedals that combine gorgeous T-Rex tone, cool retro design, and aordable pricing.
Booster is the perfect solution for making sure your solos and single-note lines are loud enough – without having to sacrice tone on your rhythm parts or adjust your amp while you’re on stage.
With just a BOOST control and a subtle, tone-shaping SCOOP control, Booster is one of the simplest pedals we make. But it’s one you’re nd yourself using constantly.
To make sure you get the most out of your Booster, be sure to read this brief user manual before getting started.
Enjoy!
ONE-STOMP VOLUME...
Using your Booster
1. Insert a 9V alkaline battery or connect to an electrical outlet using a T-Rex Fuel Tank power supply (not included).
2. Plug your guitar into the INPUT jack, and run a lead from the OUTPUT jack into your amp.
3. Use the BOOST knob to determine how loud you’d like your boosted signal to be (set by comparing with your non-boosted volume).
4. Try using the SCOOP knob to adjust the tone of your boosted signal. This can help you cut through the mix in more subtle ways than just increasing volume.
HOW IT WORKS
Your natural tone at any volume
Booster is as much about protecting your rhythm tone as turning up the volume on your leads. A replacement for adjusting the volume knob on your guitar, Booster lets you play rhythms at full volume – and optimal tone – and then boost that same great sound when you play leads or single-note rhythm parts.
What’s the SCOOP?
SCOOP is a control that alters the way your sound it equalized by boosting the midrange frequencies while keeping your highs and lows the same. Louder mids can help you cut through the mix using tone or a combination of tone and volume instead of volume alone.
