on your purchase of Luxury Drive, part
of the new Gristle line from T-Rex Engineering.

The Luxury Drive is designed to serve as a boost to your signal and
retain the tonal characteristics of your guitar and amp. The increase in
signal from the Luxury Drive oers an added edge of treble-licious tone
with a slight bit of touch sensitive compression. Try the Luxury Drive
in front of your favorite overdrive or distortion pedal for a little added
luxury to your dirty signal.

Using your Luxury Drive

Insert a 9V alkaline battery or connect the pedal to one of the T-Rex Fuel •
Tank power supplies (not included). This pedal accepts both 9 and 12 V DC.
Plug your guitar into the INPUT jack, and run a lead from the OUTPUT jack •
into your amp.
Adjust the LEVEL setting until you’ve found the sound you’re looking for. •

Level Control

With the Level control set to the lowest setting you will get a slight boost •
in the output signal. Turning the level control to the highest setting yields
an increase in signal to pummel your eects rig or amp.

Note

At high level settings noise from pickups, cables and other eects will also •
be boosted with the signal from the Luxury Drive.
A ”pop” may be heard for the rst few minutes of use when turning the ef-•
fect on and o. This is normal and goes away within few minutes.

Battery replacement

To replace the battery in your Luxury Drive, remove the bottom •
cover plate of the pedal.

Power Supply

Luxury drive can also be powered by a 9-12V DC power supply. •
It is important to use a DC power supply of correct voltage and
polarity

Note

Plugging into the input jack of the Luxury Drive turns on power to •
the unit. To preserve battery life, always unplug the cord from the
input when not in use. The external DC power jack disconnects the
battery when a power supply is plugged into it to preserve battery
life.
