Congratulations on the purchase of your new T-Rex pedal
BETAVIBE
To fully understand how the BetaVibe works, please read the following guide that thoroughly explains all functions and parameters.
The MIX knob determines the amount of processed signal in the mix. In minimum position only the direct signal is heard In maximum position only the delay (processed signal) is heard.
The VOLUME knob sets the overall volume. Set at maximum level, the signal is boosted approx. 3dB. The DEPTH knob controls the depth of the modulation. In maximum position, the sound is bent to
an extreme almost pitch shift-like effect. The SPEED knob controls the modulation speed. The TAP TEMPO/SLOW FAST footswitch has 2 functions:
1) TAP TEMPO (MODE button in “up” position) lets you tap the modulation speed while playing.
2) SLOW FAST (MODE button in “down” position) lets you increase or decrease the modulation speed fluently, exactly like a real Leslie rotor. Press the footswitch and the speed will slowly increase, press again and the speed will decrease to its original setting. Maximum speed is regulated on the SPEED knob.
The MIDI button has two modes: In “up” position the BETAVIBE acts as a typical floor pedal.
In “down” position you are able to control several parameters via MIDI:
1) SPEED TAP TEMPO (CTL. No. 22)
2) SPEED EXPRESSION PEDAL (CTL. No. 01)
3) ON/OFF (BYPASS) (CTL. No. 23)
In “down” position the SPEED knob is deactivated. The modulation speed is only controllable via MIDI. Controls: MIX, VOLUME, DEPTH and SPEED. Modes: MODE and MIDI External control: MIDI IN
Connections: INPUT: ¼ inch jack
OUTPUT: ¼ inch jack DIRECT OUT
Power supply: 120V AC/50-60Hz
Effect usage: 3.7 watts
