2. Detalles del producto

El servidor de impresora inalámbrico G tiene un conector RJ-45 y un puerto
paralelo. También dispone de 3 LEDS que indican la potencia, actividad de red
y la actividad de la impresora.

3. Instalación del hardware

1. Apague el servidor de impresora y las impresoras.

2. Conecte el puerto de impresora del servidor de impresión a las impresoras.

3. Conecte el cable RJ45 al puerto LAN y a su hub de red o conmutador.

4. Conecte el adaptador de corriente AC al conector de corriente que se

encuentra en la parte posterior del servidor de impresora.

4. Configuración del servidor de impresora

Nota: Para usuarios de MAC, se debe cambiar la dirección IP de su
PC a 192.168.0.X (en el que X es un número disponible del 1-253),
luego introducir 192.168.0.1 en el navegador para acceder a la
herramienta Web del servidor de impresora.

Para usuarios de Windows

1. Introduzca el CD-ROM de TEW-P1PG en la unidad de CD-ROM de su PC.

2. Haga clic en Install Utility (Instalar la herramienta).

12. Por favor tome nota y escriba el Nombre del servidor y el Nombre de la
impresora.

5. Añadir la impresora de red a su PC

Para Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP

Nota: Si está utilizando Windows 95/98/ME, asegúrese de que el
NETBEUI esté instalado antes de seguir con las instrucciones que
aparecen a continuación. Si está utilizando Windows 2000/XP, sólo
tiene que añadir su impresora siguiendo las instrucciones que
aparecen a continuación. Para conocer las instrucciones sobre
impresión TCP/IP, consulte la guía del usuario que se incluye en el CD­ROM.

1. Para Windows 2000/XP, haga clic en Start (Inicio) Control Panel (Panel

de Control).
Para Windows 95/98/ME, haga clic en Start (Inicio) Settings
(Configuración) Control Panel (Panel de Control).

2. Haga doble clic en el icono de Impresoras y Faxes.

3. Haga clic o doble clic en Add Printer (Añadir impresora).

5. Seleccione Network Printer (Impresora de red) y luego haga clic en Next

(Siguiente).

6. Haga clic en la opción que le permita escribir el nombre de la impresora.

Escriba el nombre del servidor y el nombre de la impresora en el siguiente
formato: \\server name\printer_name (\\ nombre de servidor \nombre de
impresora). Por ejemplo, si conecta una impresora USB a una ranura USB1,
escriba luego \\PS-4B702E\PS-4B702E-P1 SIN ESPACIOS entre ellos.
Haga clic en Next (Siguiente).

6. Configuración de la conexión

Troubleshooting

I cannot add a network printer after I typed the server name and printer name.

that the format (HEX or ASCII) and the bit encryption (64-bit, 128bit, etc.) is the same.
