Минимальные системные требования

Перед тем, как настроить работу точки доступа, необходимо убедиться в
наличии следующего:

1. Компьютер с картой для подключения к сети с помощью проводов
(RJ45) или беспроводным способом.

2. Установленный на компьютере протокол TCP/IP.

3. Веб-браузер типа Internet Explorer (5.0 или выше) или Netscape

Navigator (4.7 или выше).

4. Концентратор или коммутатор для подключения к имеющейся сети
проводной связи.

5. Сетевой кабель RJ-45 для подключения точки доступа к сетевому
коммутатору.

2. Установка оборудования

1. Выберите удобное место для точки доступа. Лучше всего точку доступа
расположить в центре свой сети беспроводной связи.

2. Подключите один конец сетевого кабеля RJ45 к точке доступа, а другой
его конец к коммутатору или концентратору. Итак, точка доступа
подключена к сети 10/100 Мбит/сек.

3. Подключите к точке доступа силовой адаптер. Для точки доступа
необходимо использовать силовой адаптер из комплекта; другая
модель адаптера может привести к ее поломке.

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ: если для конфигурирования точки доступа

используется компьютер, подключенный с помощью проводов, то
такой компьютер необходимо подключить к тому же коммутатору
или концентратору, к которому подключена точка доступа TEW­510APB.

3. Выбор настроек TCP/IP

Перед тем, как получить доступ к точке доступа и установить ее
конфигурацию, необходимо изменить настройки TCP/IP. (К этому
относится и IP-адрес вашей карты беспроводной связи.)

Windows 2000/XP

1. Найдите на рабочем столе кнопку Пуск.

2. Выберите Пуск, затем Панель управления. В операционной системе

Windows 2000 нажмите на Пуск, выделите Настройки и затем
выберите Панель управления.

3. Дважды щелкните по значку Сетевые подключения.

4. Правой кнопкой мыши щелкните по значку Подключение по
локальной сети, затем по значку Свойства. Появится окно со

свойствами подключения по локальной сети.

5. Выбрав закладку Общие, найдите и выберите Internet Protocol TCP/IP
и затем щелкните по кнопке Свойства. Появится окно свойств
Интернет-протокола (TCP/IP).

6. Выберите Использовать следующий IP-адрес. Введите 192.168.1.50
для IP-адреса и 255.255.255.0 для подсети, щелкните по кнопке OK.

7. Щелкните по кнопке ОК.

8. Теперь компьютер готов к подключению и конфигурированию точки

доступа.

4. Конфигурация точки доступа

Если выбирается конфигурация TEW-510APB в компьютере,
подключаемом с помощью проводов, пройдите этапы 1-3. Если TEW­510APB конфигурируется с помощью компьютера с беспроводной связью,
выполните этапы 4-7.

Если компьютер подключается с
помощью проводов

1. Откройте веб-браузер (Explorer или Navigator), введите в адресной
строке http://192.168.1.250 и нажмите на клавишу ввода. Оставьте поле

username незаполненным и введите в поле пароля admin.

2. Щелкните по Wireless. Введите любое имя AP Name для свой точки

доступа. Создайте идентификатор SSID, которым будет пользоваться
ваша беспроводная сеть, и выберите канал. (Например, Wireless AP,
Home AP или Office AP). Перейдите вниз страницы и щелкните по
кнопке Apply.

3. Щелкните по кнопке Setup. Если ваша действующая сеть относится к
другому сетевому сегменту (напр., 192.168.0.1~254), введите IP-адрес,
маску подсети (Subnet Mask) и шлюз по умолчанию (Default Gateway)
