OPERATION
The push-stick has been designed for use
with a router table or saw table, and should
always be used when making any cut less
than 300mm in length or, when feeding the last
300mm of a longer cut.
When operating a hand-fed circular saw the

than is necessary to the front of the saw and
hands should never be in line with the saw
blade. When using a push-stick on a hand fed

a position along the plate of the saw, so that
in the event of an unexpected movement of
the workpiece, the ngers will not be thrown
against the teeth. A push-stick should always
be used to remove the cut piece from between
the saw and the fence, unless the width of the
cut piece exceeds 150mm.
The birds mouth is 90° and should be angled at
between 20° to 30° to the workpiece to suit the
height of the machinist.
