Covers Part #5360
Remove the engine
• Remove the air filter, and disconnect the EZ-Start wires from the EZ-Start motor and the

Rear
Cradle
glow plug. Disconnect the fuel lines from the carburetor and the exhaust pipe.
• Remove the four 3x10CS (cap screw) that secure the engine to the engine mount. Remove the 4x10BCS (button-head cap screw) that secure the pipe hanger to the rear body mount. Shift the engine forward to disengage the throttle arm from the throttle bell crank, and lift the engine with exhaust system up and out of the chassis.
Remove the rear bulkhead and engine mount
• Remove the 3x10SS (shoulder screw) that secures the throttle bell crank to the engine mount. Leave the throttle bell crank connected to the throttle linkage. Remove the rear body mount by removing the three 4x14BCS. Remove the two 3x32CS that secure the top of the rear shocks to the shock mount (Leave the EZ-Start wiring harness attached to the body mount, and set the body mount aside).
• Flip the truck upside down and remove the two 4x14BCS that fasten the engine mount to the rear bulkhead. Next, loosen (or remove) the four 3x10CS that secure the engine mount to the chassis plate.
• Remove the two 3x28CS that secure the cradle between the front and rear sections of the engine mount. Remove the cradle first, then flex the longskid plate tap that’s covering the mounts up and out of the way so you can remove the front and back sections.
Note: The rear bulkhead will need to be pulled back to free up the front engine mount section so it can be removed from the chassis plate.
Engine mount installation
With the long skid plate tab flexed up and out of the way, insert the front engine mount section through the chassis plate and rest it in the chassis as shown in the picture. Key the two transmission drive shafts together and push the rear bulkhead and suspension assembly through the mount. The front of each bulkhead half must reach the edge of the mount (see photo).
• Now, insert the rear engine mount section in through the chassis plate (as shown) and install the four 3x10CS.
Do not tighten the engine mount screws.
Snug the screws lightly until further instruction. Next, secure the rear engine mount section to the rear bulkhead with the two 4x14BCS.
• Flip the truck back on its wheels. Insert the engine mount cradle between the two outside sections, and install the inner 3x28CS. Important: The outer 3x28CS that goes through the cradle of the Revo engine mount requires two star washers (included), one to be placed on each side of the cradle between the two outside sections (see photos) before it is installed. Thread the 3x28CS until they are just snug, then back off just enough to allow the center section to pivot up and down.
Now,tighten the four 3x10CS that secure the engine mount to the chassis plate.
• Install the throttle bell crank onto the engine mount (inside hole, see photo), and secure it with the 3x10SS.
• Secure the rear shocks to the shock mount with the two 3x32CS and connect the rear body mount to the rear bulkhead. Secure it with the three 4x14BCS.

Reinstall the engine
• Set the engine with exhaust system back into the cradle of the engine mount. Make sure to slide the throttle arm into the throttle bell crank. Secure the engine to the engine mount with the four 3x10CS. wire must be reconnected to the engine case with one of the inboard 3x10CS engine screws.
• Use the 4x10BCS to secure the pipe hanger to the rear body mount. Reconnect the rest of the EZ-Start wires and fuel lines appropriately.
Note: The yellow EZ-Start
Set gear mesh
• Loosen the two horizontal 3x28CS located on the engine mount just enough to shift the engine up and down.
• Push the engine up toward the spur gear until the clutch bell gear binds slightly with the spur gear. Check this by spinning the spur gear. The spur gear should turn the clutch bell gear, but will feel a little rough.
• Back the clutch bell gear off of the spur gear slightly to the point where the spur gear and clutch bell gear can spin freely. should be as close together as possible, but they should still be able to spin freely without binding.
• Tighten the two 3x28CS. Reconnect the air filter to the carburetor. This completes the procedure.
