1. Introduction
Transcend’s DriveProTM Body 52 is an easy-to-operate wearable video camera that is tailor-made for police officers, security guards and other professionals to capture real time videos and photos of events. The Wi-Fi network allows live streaming to your smartphone and adjusting the function settings using the DrivePro™ Body App.
DrivePro™ Body 52 features a compact camera unit attached via a flexible 1.2 meter cable to the main unit, allowing for a wide variety of wearing options. In addition, the DrivePro™ Body 52 boasts a 130° wide angle lens for the best field of view and records videos in crystal clear Full HD 1080P (30 FPS) with a F1.8 aperture to ensure both the important details of your actions and those in the
camera’s field are clearly recorded. The handy snapshot function allows you to take photos while recording. Transcend’s DrivePro™ Body 52 has a built-in Li-Polymer battery that can record up to
3.5 hours and only takes approximately 1.5 hours to be fully recharged.
The DrivePro™ Body 52 has an internal 32GB storage, allowing users to record up to 3.5 hours of footage. In addition, the camera is rugged and IPX4 water resistant, providing extra protection and durability. The DrivePro™ Body Toolbox provides secure data protection mechanism to protect the recorded data. For enterprises or departments that purchase multiple DrivePro™ Body cameras, Transcend’s optional 6-port Docking Station offers the best solution as each port can simultaneously charge and upload the recorded data to your database.

3-2 Charging the DrivePro™ Body 52
Before use, please ensure that the battery is fully charged. Charge the DrivePro™ Body 52 via the bundled 3.5mm to USB cable. A solid orange LED light is visible while charging; the orange LED light will turn off when fully charged.
To charge the DrivePro™ Body 52, you can either:
1. Connect the bundled 3.5mm to USB cable to a wall outlet with the included adapter
2. Connect the bundled 3.5mm to USB cable to a computer
3. Connect the DrivePro™ Body 52 to Transcend’s Docking Station (Optional)

4. Recording Videos
4-1 Normal Recording
To start recording, long press the button; you will hear 1 beep, and the red LED light of the recording indicator will flash during recording. To activate Wi-Fi, long press the button while
recording, and the LED light will flash from red to blue. To stop recording, long press the button again; you will hear 1 beep. The red LED light will then turn off. One video file is saved for every 3 minutes of recording.

Note: The DrivePro™ Body 52 stops recording when tapping Browse/Settings using the App; the front LED turns solid blue.
4-2 Event Recording
To start event recording, short press the button once while recording; you will hear 2 beeps (1 short beep and 1 long beep), and the red LED light of the recording indicator will flash faster than in normal recording. The mode will automatically switch back to normal recording after the file finishes recording (depending on the video length set). Video files recorded in event recording are saved in the “Event” folder and are protected from being overwritten.
5. Taking Photos
To take photos while recording, quickly press the button, you will hear 1 beep.

6. Using the DrivePro™ Body App
Developed for iOS and Android devices, the free DrivePro™ Body App allows you to wirelessly adjust the settings of the camera and to live-stream video on your smart device.
6-1 Downloading and Installing the App
1. Search and download DrivePro™ Body on your App Store or Google Play.
2. Download and install the DrivePro™ Body App .
Once the installation is complete, the App will be displayed on the home screen of your device.
6-2 Connecting to the DrivePro™ Body App
1. Turn on the Wi-Fi by long pressing the button while recording, the front LED will turn
flashing blue. Tap the DrivePro™ Body icon on your device.
2. Tap “Connect”. Please wait for a few seconds for the network to appear.

3. Select the “DrivePro™Body52” Wi-Fi link (default password is 12345678).
4. Tap the DrivePro™ Body icon on the home screen of your device to use the App.
Note: The camera stops recording when you tap or using the App, the front LED turns solid blue.
