Tramigo Y5
The Product
Tramigo Y5 is a personal alarm system that works with your Android and iOS smartphone or
tablet. The package contains one Tramigo Y5, and a USB charger.
Getting started
Before use
When you start using your Tramigo Y5, charge the battery for two hours. This
ensures optimal performance and battery life.
Pairing to a smartphone or tablet for the first time
1. Download the Tramigo Y5 App to your smartphone or tablet from Google Play or the
Apple Store.
2. Start up the App and select Add a Tramigo Y5. A welcome screen appears.
3. Select Tramigo Y5 on the screen.
4. The App requests the QR code, which is on a leaflet in the Tramigo Y5 package.
5. Select Connect Tramigo Y5.
6. The Tramigo Y5 is now connected to your smartphone or tablet and you can start using
it.
Adding more users
Use the Tramigo Y5 App to share the access to your Tramigo Y5 with another
smartphone or tablet. Please note that it cannot be paired again using the QR code.
1. In Settings, choose General.
2. Choose Manage access rights .
3. Choose Add user.
A recommended precaution: Requesting a reset link
If the only smartphone or tablet your Tramigo Y5 is connected with is lost or broken, or you
accidentally remove the Tramigo Y5 App, Tramigo Y5 cannot be connected to another
smartphone or tablet without a reset.
The reset simply removes all the connections between Tramigo Y5 and any smartphone or
tablet it has been connected to. To reset your Tramigo Y5, you need to request a reset link.
1. Open
the Tramigo Y5 App on your device.
2. Select a Tramigo Y5.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Create a restore link .
5. Enter your e-mail address and select Send.
6. A message containing the reset link will arrive in your inbox in a few minutes.
Save it for future use.
SOS alert
To send an SOS alert to the Tramigo Y5 App, press the button on Tramigo Y5 three times
quickly. When the SOS alert has been sent, the indicator light on the Tramigo Y5 is red.
The SOS alert is always enabled, and it works in the same way in all Modes. When the SOS
alert has been sent, the alert will play on the Tramigo Y5 App, and within five minutes, the App
will also show the location of the alerting Tramigo Y5. To cancel the alert, press the button on
Tramigo Y5 three times quickly again. The alert must still be acknowledged in the Tramigo Y5
App.
Once the SOS alert has been acknowledged in the Tramigo Y5 App, the indicator light on the
Tramigo Y5 will be green for three minutes.
Modes
Tramigo Y5 has three Modes for optimal use in different situations. The SOS alert always works
the same way, in all Modes. Change Modes by choosing the Mode tab and then selecting the
Mode you want to use.
1. SOS Button Only Mode
Tramigo Y5 can only be located by pressing the alarm button. The device is offline and does not
report even the approximate location to the Tramigo Y5 App The device cannot be located
through the Tramigo Y5 App. Only battery status is available on the Tramigo Y5 App.
Battery life can last up to several months.
Tip: Use this Mode when you want to have a personal alarm for someone who doesn't need
active tracking on the Tramigo Y5 App and does not want to pay attention to the battery.
2. Power Saving Mode
This is the factory setting of your Tramigo Y5. In power saving mode you can customize the time
intervals according to which your device will retrieve location data when sleeping or moving.
Precise location data is available only at preset intervals.
You can set the interval as:
Active Tracking Mode: sleeping - 6 hours, moving - 3 minutes
Passive Tracking mode: sleeping - 12 hours, moving - 30 minutes
Asset Tracking: sleeping - 24 hours, moving - 4 hours
Battery life varies from a few days to several weeks depending on your settings and usage.
Tip: Use this Mode when you want to prolong the battery life and only need to check the location
occasionally, such as when the Tramigo Y5 is placed in a car or a boat.
Note: Location data is available only after the preset interval has passed.
3. Real-Time Tracking Mode
The Tramigo Y5 is constantly online and can be located right away through the Tramigo Y5 App.
This mode uses less data but more power. Be careful, as the constant availability will result in
heavy battery drain. Battery life will be approximately one day.
Tip: Use this Mode for active tracking, for example for a small child. Location data is available
with minimum delay on the Tramigo Y5 App.
Setting notifications
Tramigo Y5 can be set to send notifications for specific situations, such as when Tramigo Y5
starts moving after a period of stillness.

2. Select Settings
3. Select Edit Notifications
4. Check the boxes for the events you want to be notified of.

services and GPS location requests. This product meets applicable national SAR limits of

carrying the product or using it while worn on your body, either use an accessory such as a
holster or otherwise maintain a distance of 0,5 cm from the body to ensure compliance with
RF exposure requirements.
